Thanks so much for watching you lovely people!☺️ We’re celebrating 10 years together this month so thought we’d answer 10 questions from you, we’ll share a video where we answer your questions! You can write them below in the comments or send us a message here: instagram.com/tideknottravellers it can be anything from where we met to how we decided to travel or just anything you’d like to know about us😊
i traveled couple of years by myself across the globe, what do love traveling together and 24/7 together ? i mean how do you manage me time for both of you ?
Omg! Saare tirp looked INCREDIBLE. That thin strip of sand jetting out into the sea with the water on both sides, how incredibly stunning! I’ve never seen anything like it! thanks for sharing
That hotel Lest & Lammas translates as Flounder and the Sheep. A very good place. They even have a dedicated hall for Hiiumaa home brewed beer which is completely different from the Saaremaa one.
The ferrymen on Sõru-Triigi line are old skilled ones who try to fill-up the ferry to the last possible configuration allowing people of the live lane to get to the ferry. So you can always gamble when out of reservations.
Howdy! Another cool video 😎 👍 Btw did you visit the Seaplane harbor and Maritime museum? These two places are really worth to visit. You should post more than one video per week. 😉
Thank you😊 we still need to visit the Maritime museum. We are planning to try and do 2 a week, great to know we’ll have your support with a second video!☺️
Beautiful windmill- Kirsty scared me in the out takes!!! How great to have the place to yourselves!!! A real treat when anywhere beautiful is SO busy in many countries! That spit of land was amazing - Hope you checked tide times before venturing out onto it?!🤣 The drone WAS impressive with that wind & still great results!👍 love the islands look forward to seeing more! 👍
Estonian beaches do not have tides. Technically the tides exist; however, as the water line moves only a couple of centimetres, one would not notice it at all.
Hey guys! Another great episode. The honest box for contributions is such a great idea for free attractions. I really liked the drone footage on the beach..oh and the pizza at the end looked good!
I have never been inside a windmill. Nice. I love the sites where the Sea is on either side. It's beautiful. Wow! It is really windy. Ferry boats are cool. They use them a lot in Asia. I am happy you found a place to stay. Enjoy! Safe travels! :)
Congratulations on 10 years. What a wonderful milestone :) I really liked the windmill. Little sketchy lol especially that door but very beautiful and love the view! What a windy day!! I loved Sarre Tirp. I've never seen anything quite like it. Would love to take a long walk there. You got some great drone footage there :)
That windmill door was a little sketchy! Loved the walk out on the peninsula, looked beautiful but a bit windy. You found such a cute town at the end.. glad you got your accommodations worked out.
What a gorgeous walk along the sand spit. I can’t believe how windy it was! I’m glad you sorted out your accommodations at the end. Don’t worry, I think we all want to fast forward to 2021. 😂
Just love the beach strip walk, nature and everything :) We don't have a sea in Nepal as we are landlocked. The seaside adventure is always fascinating.
* How Criag got blisters on the nose? * The windmill and grassy field appealed to me as parts of Netherlands, England, Scotland on the RU-vid Videos. * The main town of Kuressaare, I just loved it. To to see more and more of it. :)
Absolutely awesome video guys.... that sand split looked absolutely beautiful 🥰 that wind sounds crazy! We you guys not a little scared to fly the drone 😅 guys this looked like such a cool adventure island hoping and didn't even seem stressful besides trying to find it on the internet 😀 so funny that you booked the accommodation for 2021😅 just shows how we all so over 2020🤣 thank you so much for this great video. Really enjoyed watching it!
Wow that sand spit really is something like straight out of the philippines, what a great find. Totally agree the drone shot was magical and worth it, glad it came back! Haha o jeez sorry about the accommodation snafu but glad it worked out and you found a replacement spot!
Yeh the islands are incredible, like the Philippines but lovely and quiet😊 I’m always pleased everytime the drone touches back down, but this day even more so! 😅
Wow walking on the edge of the world, literally!! That spit is SO cool 🙂👍🗺️ and that bensiin station was also very cute, in that kind of place you can often find yourself a very cute murderer 😂👍
It did feel like we were just walking into the sea! 🌊 it felt a long way back when we were stood out there too! 😂 loved the quiet little bensiin station, luckily didn’t see any murderers, or anyone at all!
Despite Hiiumaa is a small island people from there or with greater experience say you have to spend a week in one place, let's say a village, and get accustomed with the locals. I as Estonian have never tested that but I always keep in mind and tend one day to try out.
As you were panning around Sääre my first thought was: wow, their drone can really deliver! And then in the next shot you tell the audience how impressed you were with the drone :-D
Al Ex great minds think alike🧐 Craig has years of experience flying it but we were still so pleased with how well it handled the wind right out at sea, but we really wanted to show how amazing it looked!
Amazing frog getting those great shots in the wind. So scary. Love that you guys have a car and can take ferries and are getting to explore so many islands- it is so amazing! Glad you guys were able to get accommodations 😂🤦🏼♀️ easy mistake.
My nerves guys...with the drone flying in the wind 😬 the footage looked amazing though!!!! How cool is the island hopping experience, it looks like it’s so easy to do with the ferries! I’ve never seen the inside of a windmill, imagine you guys could stay in there 🙂 I would really like to know what the thinking was behind that door on the top floor 🤣🙈 Your long walk on that island walkway looked so cool, surrounded by the ocean on either side...amazing! And the pizza at the end looked sooo yum!
Being Bedingfield definitely one of the trickiest flights we’ve ever done in the 3 years of flying it😅 we had to try and show the world how awesome Sääre Tirp looks though!😊 island hopping here has been so fun!
1. There are a few small local shops here and there around Estonia with no staff where the visitors just take what they need from the shelves and leave whatever they consider fair in a jar. Pretty much like that donations plate in the old wind mill you have visited. 2. So are you planning to come back to Kuressaare next year to claim your Airbnb booking? 😂 3. I'd really like to see you guys doing a road trip along the British coastline! There are so many beautiful cliffs, lighthouses, beaches, fishing towns, etc.
1. That’s so lovely, think we found a cute little hut like that in Matsalu national park, there were handmade gloves and carved wooden items with prices and an honesty box, amazing! 2. It was so funny the moment Craig was on the phone to them and I was checking the booking and the penny dropped!😅 3. That is exactly something Craig and I aspire to do one day, we love the British coastline (a lot of our drone practice has taken place there over the years)
It is a great pleasure to see you discover our Estonia. If you are already in "Saaremaa", visit the cabbage crater at Apolla's birthplace. Help me solve the mystery.ullapol (Above) Poolewe (semi-water) Laide (shallow sea) .These places are in Scotland. the name of the old county is also very Estonian.
Cabbage??? You meant Kaali, and used google translator? LOL To visit Saaremaa without visiting Kaali is a serious fail though. It is one of the very few places on Earth, where a huge meteorite landed lately enough to reach into folklore (in local folklore, as well as in Finnish "Kalevala", and there are theories that the legends reached even Homer in Ancient Greece, and that was the Ultima Thule visited by Pytheas), and nearly only one of these places not situated somewhere really remote.
Many congratulations for the channel and especially for the video you already have a new subscriber and a super like I invite you to visit my space a big hug from Spain
Bishop Alberht had the last Estonian druid executed. last Pharaoh, he was drowned. Do we forgive them? in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Earth mother and sky father.
