This makes me wish that we got an Area 51 map at some point with most of this as playable space

Love the mpd, was always confused if Sam was in the pyramid or the dark aether when she controls the zombies

When you use the Gersh device on the rocket map, that same paper changes depending on the amount of zombies. This implies that the Gersh device is sending them there, and not killing them. It was a funny EE.

The best zombies map to date. Nothing can top it.

2 Facts: 1. in the OG moon, when no clipping to the moon from Area 51, the skybox doesn’t change and the gravity/ no oxygen mechanic doesn’t work either It seems that the teleportation activated them. 2. The OG moon section of the OG map has moved. It used to be just behind the teleporter hanger .

The giant machines are bucket wheel excavators, and yes they exist in real life

Only the OGs remember Radaustin27 doing this years ago when these maps were first released

Personally moon is very favorite aesthetic wise. It's easily the coolest looking map, and even though I'm not a huge fan of the map's gameplay, I'll definitely hop on some moon just to appreciate the visuals

The London newspaper is a scrapped map and idea they had and was a peice of symbolism to that.

the london news paper was most likely a refernec to the fact that moon on bo1 was originally gonna be the eiffel tower but last minute they (the devs) went with the moon cuz it sounded crazier.

I remember last year sometime I was playing with a mod menu on this map and I somehow glitched it out to where I was suffocating and floating around in area 51, and then able to breathe and walk normally on the moon. It was something to do with a specific feature of the mod I was using where if I went out of bounds I would be tp’d back into the playable map, and at one point I was tp’d from the out of bounds on the moon all the way back to area 51, which im pretty sure is what broke the game. Its just an interesting system they have where going between 2 areas of a map changes the physics and makes the player take a space suit on and off

Dope video probably my favorite. One thing you did miss is there’s a hidden teddy bear up on a ledge in the out of bounds area in bio dome that’s been found and no space dog EE but super dope video probably my favorite so far

Those big "excavators" are called bucket wheels and yes they are real they were used in mining they don't get use very much anymore they primarily use electric shovels now adays

Pretty sure the reason so many things out of the map have collision are for people throwing grenades.

Fun fact: The mushroom cloud at 39:24 is actually a result of the rocket hitting nuketown. As we know, nuketown zombies and moon took place at the same time, and both are set (at least the Area 51 portion of moon) in Nevada. So both locations are pretty much a couple of miles away from each other, close enough to see the result of one of the 115 rockets.

The excavators are based off of real life circular excavators. Biggest one being the Bagger 288
