Neeley Tweed is my third Great grandfather. I have distant cousins and lots of other relatives in and around Marshall. Hoping to find someone to go explore the graveyards someday
My family is the Flynn's now I'm in West Virginia but I miss Marshall I remember going to post office and the bank and etc and across the river with my grandmother lol
about 5 miles out of town the railroad tracks go across the river, so that's what you might be thinking that the tracks are on the other side of the river
the tracks that you're talkin about down by Zuma's is the main Crossing, the tracks you're pointing there at the dam is still part of them railroad tracks that is the main line that comes through Marshall there's nothing on the other side of the river
I live in marshall it's not really special in my opinion but it is a quite place not alot of people here like Asheville alot of outter towner's love it
Judge not... please, judge not. Folks are trying. They're trying to hold their heads high. Trying to hold on with both hands to our culture. My brothers and sisters of these mountains are lost.
