In some wicked way I find it, eye opening? Learning? A way for me to look into normal peoples minds? by reading popular books that I have absolutely no interest in. I read and watched normal people at the same time. Really elevated it for me. Conversations with friends (show) i found completely insufferable 😬 put me off buying the book.
This is becoming my favorite book channel!!! I also thought Normal People was so good as a show but awful as a book. Reading about them was unbearable. I think most tiktok books are written to be good as shows/movies but poor books.The authors just give up on any meaningful literary elements and character development to make a generically good plot.
