Thanks for the review! Sorry but just to correct you, the S4066 model is actually the one with the printed indices (the same one you showed in place for the stock photo). The one you have here is the version with the applied indices which is the S204056. Thought you might like to know in case other viewers want to purchase via your affiliate link (which brings us to the version with the printed and not applied indices) :)

Beautiful watch. That dial is stunning. This watch has it all and then some when it comes to homaging the explorer. You can't get this dial color from the OG, which is a plus for Baltany. You can also get this watch with a swiss Sellita movement. This watch should be a must buy IMO. Thanks for the review.

I read an article about this recently. Society tends to flip from bright, loud colors when the economy is good and the world is safe, moving to a more somber, earth toned pallette as the economy ranks and the world becomes more chaotic. Expect less red and more brown.

There are 2 sizes. Bezel is fine on the larger one which I have. Pants is no exhibition case back.

Ghost date w/ a NH movement is never excusable at any price point. The cost difference is marginal at retail. At wholesale it becomes even less of an issue. Ghost dates should never be a thing but so many manufacturers insist on doing it. As for Explorer homages. I prefer, and own, the Cronos. The brand name on the dial disappears under most lighting. Dimensions are 1:1 w/ the real one so there’s that as well. I don’t regret selling the real version to now wear a homage. Divesting out of Rolex makes your bank accounts happier…for about two minutes until you buy a bunch of “cheaper” watches 😂

I agree about the bezel. It is thicker than my sn021, but not too thick. Also I find the colour difference between the induces and hands a bit off but I think it's close. Awsome watch. I'd buy one

I'm debating getting this one or the Proxima PX1690-2A. Which one would you get? Or should I just get the Orient RE-AU0006S00B like yours, but use it as a GADA? Great video.

Good question man and in fairness I own all 3. They are all fantastic watches. The Orient Star is an unreal watch and I’ve never seen anything better from an established brand, although I wouldn’t use it as a GADA. Both the Proxima and Baltany watches are true GADA’s and tbh I’d struggle to choose between them, which says alot about how good this Baltany is. So really, it just comes down to personal preference mate 👍👍

I just realized that I inadvertently bought the S0435 (39mm). I meant to purchase the S0456 (36mm). Does anyone know if there are any other differences beyond the size?

Off memory the main differences are; the 39mm has polished centre links and you can also get that one with a SW200. I hope that helps mate 👍👍

I have “real” watches and a lot of them. I have a friend who buys the #mamacoo we put them side by side and guess what ?! It’s unbelievable!!! I am at the Rolex boutique with her and no one can tell he has a fake
