I have a few Peaches cassette crates that my wife picked me up for a birthday quite a few years ago. Neither of us realized it was actually from a record store! Though I wonder if it was from before when it was a department store...
Ah! So I should have been more specific! Peaches was always a record store, those crates are in fact representing the store/chain. They moved this specific store to what used to be a department store.
There was a Peaches in our town back in the day, it then turned into a Sound Warehouse. Since Sound Warehouse left it's been vacant, for like 30-35 years. Anyway, great video, it's good to see there is a Peaches in New Orleans.
I just recently found a couple of old wooden Peaches records crates in a storage unit. I remember buying Alanis Morissette’s jagged little pill cd in a Peaches when I was a kid. I can’t even remember where it was

I was an assistant manager at Tower Records many days ago. You see the one I worked at in American Gigolo .. 3 floors of music. Peaches 🍑 was the southern Tower. Harmony House was a big Midwest chain. Many of these locations became an FYE & FYE seems to be constantly closing outlets now. Can't live on Funko Pops alone. ✌️
