I love it too. The rawness of Gabriel videos is what makes his channel so appealing. He really puts the viewer in the city he’s in and gives you a feel for what it’s truely like to be there.

Love your channel! I wish I could travel the world as much as you! I just started a vlog about Japanese culture, and will hopefully be filming a journey to Japan. One thing I noticed was the light flicker in your video. I did some research and found out that the light frequency in a lot of Asian countries is 50hz as opposed to the standard 60hz, meaning if you change the frame rate from 24 to 25 or 30 it should go away.

Sumida river. Good for boats rides. Fireworks in the summer. You are walking towards the ‘turd’ building which belongs to a beer company. I’m a traveler like you but based in Tokyo since 1983

Nice vid again. The Sony building used to have an aquarium that feature a whale shark. It was that big. It was amazing to say the least. But the Sony building closed last year and is reopening as " Ginza Sony Park" in August. I don't think they will have the whale shark again. Keep up the good traveling I see you are appreciating Japan more and more. You have to make several trips to really see how wonderful Japan and it's people really are. Did you look up Nikko? Its worth the trip. But you have to get up really early to go there. I don't think you'll have time this trip. Have fun and thank you...

Don't know what "Donald Trumpy" means either. Maybe inspired at 1:03 by what looks like Trump's hair on top of the Asahi building, but apparently it's known as "golden poop" in Japan. Gabriel, hope I may ask an off-topic question: In which format and settings do you export your videos? Especially when you are in a place with a slow internet connection and you need to find the ideal balance between a high quality video and a sufficiently small file size. Thanks. How big is a 10min 108p60 video that you upload? Japan has great internet, but many other parts of Asia most likely don't.

Yes, the flooding is really bad down in the southern part of Japan, it's craziness. Joerg, I always export my videos at 1080p and 60fps, same settings that I'm shooting at. It means that sometime with slow internet it can be a pain to get them uploaded, but I just suffer through it. Here in Japan it's been easy everywhere, only takes 10-15 minutes to upload. Typically the video files will be around 500 megabytes to 1 gigabyte or so.

Thank you, Gabriel! How do you get the videos to such a fairly small size? Is Bitrate making the difference? (If I use the recommended settings from my video editor VSDC a ten minute video is 7 GB big. And it's not even 60pfs)
