SO having just picked up the FujiFilm X10 I have been out and about in Tokyo shooting street photography and just trying to get used to shooting with the FujiFilm X10. Great fun, great little camera! In this video I had some errands to run so stayed in Shinjuku and Shibuya for the afternoon.
Let me know if there is any where I could improve with this videos. I am having a blast with the shooting/editing process these days so any tips would be amazing!!

Great shots! My X20 is probably my fav camera. Though if an X40 were ever to be made with a 1" sensor and an ND filter, I think it would be the greatest street photography camera ever.

Thanks!! That sounds like it wouldn't be too hard for FujiFilm to make and sometjihg LOTS of people would love at the moment. Let me talk to me sources over there and see what I can do, hahaha

Damn Jason ! I am currently on the hunt on every x10 video as I am soonly purchasing one to go with a lighter setup for my walks and it seems that this camera is very funny ! Hoping to have lots of fun with it when I will have my hands on it next week ! Thank you for you wonderful video :D ! love your shots ! P.S Do you think you would have a "Edit with me" style where you show how to handle the RAW files of the X10 ? I love your editing style !

Ya, got lucky with the light!! Winters are great as the sun stays low most of the day. I always shoot RAW. The X10 doesn’t have many film presets so just shoot RAW and edit later. Thanks for liking the video!!

@@zoonationable ya, lots of people are asking me that. Not that I don’t want to share, but I do believe finding your own way to edit photos is part of being a photographer. Long story short. I edit in the Adobe Camera Raw. I have a couple presets I found here and there, or I just edit how I like with my feeling that day. I spend no more that 5min editing each picture, probably even less.

i'm using fujifilmX10 too, its nice too use for street , but i still dont know how to setting 🤣

Ya, it’s not the smartest camera in the world. I usually just put it on aperture priority so I don’t have to think too much. Sometimes though it messes up hard so have to play with manual exposure, but the camera fights you sometimes there as well. Remember, it is like 10 years old so…

Settings are subjective, but I keep the ISO low, and usually shoot on aperature priority to keep things simple when in the street. I find in some bright situations the camera's shutter speed can't go fast enough so you get over exsposed images, so you need to watch the little exposure dial on the viewfinder. Good luck!!

Hi, im also a user of X10 for 9 years now, do you do some touch up for the pictures? because i don't think that is straight out of the X10 right? Also i want to ask you, for most of these images, do you use std FS or Astia or others ?

Thanks for checking out the video! You are correct in thinking I have edited the images. I shoot jpeg + RAW but usually end up editing the RAW images so don't use FS that much. Even if I am downloading a JEPG to my phone to post from their I still edit as I want to keep my personal style of image even with the X10. Hope that helps!
