I have a Babylock Presto 2 and would like to know what kind of ruler would work with my machine. My worries is the pressure foot jumping over the template and getting injured…..thank you!
How does one make sure the stitched lines line up better. I like to do things right and there are way too many lines that are not lining up when sewing the next shape in these videos.
The more accurate the lines on your fabric are drawn, the more accurate your designs when using the ruler will be, when you shift to the next position. Make certain that you have enough handigrip on the back of the ruler to prevent it from slipping on the fabric.
I just purchased some rulers and ruler foot so I'm brand new to this. Maybe this is a silly question but I want to know how to use one of these rulers to do an entire quilt. How do you move from one of the finished quilting designs to start another? You don't have to tie off your thread at the end of every one, do you?
If you're doing them next to each other than no. But if you are moving from one spot to another with space in between, than yes, you would have to start and stop and tie off your threads after each motif.
