Shame every child at school can't have him teaching science. I used to fall asleep in my physics lessons the teacher was so dull, uninspiring and lacking in charisma. Paint drying seemed more interesting to me at the time.lol. Loved this series.

Profesor Brian Cox is the coolest guy on earth. I have nothing against Neil DeGrasse Tyson, but I would have loved to see Brian Cox in the remake of Cosmos instead; he explains things a lot closer to how Carl Sagan would.
@WayneLynch69
@WayneLynch69 2 года назад
There are so many Carl Sagan wannabes (Brian Greene, Dyson, Lawrence Kruass...). Cox is the only legitimate "cosmos whisperer". And unlike fanatic ideologue Sagan, he would never say "it is not at all clear that thermodynamics is universal", as did Sagan. Sagan's worship of a universe of fulfilling meaning required him to defy Arthur Eddington on disputing the 2nd Law: "I can give you no hope; there is nothing for it but to collapse into deepest humiliation"

Amazing nontheless. The planet, although it's made out of solid rock. stretches when it's close to Jupiter, and get back in normal shape when it's going further from the planet. 500km high eruptions is insane.... imagine happening that here on earth ....

My poor brilliant darling looks miserably hot in this. I think it was like 102F during the filming of this part of the series. Ah, Brian, I never hear what you say the first time. Then, the second time, when I can concentrate, I am always amazed at how you bring such complex concepts...down to earth. Thank you for all that you do. p.s. 86 that shirt, darling.

Who cares? It will never ease anyone's suffering or lighten anyone's existential dread. It seems with all his senseless smiling he hasn't a clue what the sentence of life is truly about.
@travisyoung3828

To bad none of this is true. They are not volcanoes but results of enormous releases of electromagnetic forces between the 2 bodies in the form of plasma.

@travisyoung3828

Nice response on a comment over a year old, think maybe you would've learned something by now. Sad your species holds such promise yet you choose to relinquish the privilege of knowledge on such an idiocy so common in your race...huh sad but your species is young so the losses of the few do not out weigh the many. Sometimes I forget how stupid the quantum realm can be or is that just me? These things tend to elude me in such a time slip. A bowl of scorpions is my mind. I dareth do the deed...a man who dareth not...is none. So stupid am I ha. What a waste of a beautiful mind.
