Hello I've issue after importing sketchup model to ecotech, it wont calculate the room volume (zero room volume) whats the problem..? Thanks

There is one question, How can we accurate Ectoect findings in compare of field measurement in indoor temperature. my mean, when temperature for field measurement is 25 (C) but for Ecotect is 28(C), How can I make this results near to each other to accurate the ECOTECT results? which part of ECOTECT must be adjusted to give near results to field measurement ?

amir hosien Sohrabi, These differences are always there as there are lot of other factors that effect the indoor temperature which might not be considered in ecotect.

So, you mean that ECOTECT is not trust-able for scientific researches?

Hi, when I import, from sketchup to ecotect, my model is not shown on the vizualise window, why does it happen?

Probably the model is away from the origin. For this use the grid n zoom setting at bottom right of ecotect. Or check the unit scaling when importing the model.

Why for me imported model to ECOTECT from Sketch UP get so many lines???

select the option of auto merge triangle. while importing.

amir hosien Sohrabi Dear Amir, 1. Dont make windows and doors in sketchup as it makes ecotect distort it. Instead make them in ecotect. Simple model should always be made in ecotect. 2. Make sure to make pure in the sketch-up, VIEW - ANIMATION - SETTINGS - STATISTICS - PURGE UNUSED. 3. Select merge triangles while importing into ecotect.
