Great guide, I'm experiencing a strange issue, my DVR is compatible with the Cloud Storage feature and has that section in the web menu, I've also got 5MP Hikvision cameras. When I'm on the screen seen on you're video at 2:22 all the Camera's say '[Aundefined] undefined'. In all the other sections of the DVR menu and the web menu the cameras are properly shown, but its just in this cloud section. The connection to cloud service works fine, but I can't select the cameras due to them all saying '[Aundefined] undefined'
@@DVSLTD So I got the cloud upload working, it didn't matter that all cameras in the drop-down were saying '[Aundefined] undefined' as there is a button saying 'Copy To' inside there it shows A1 - A8 and that is referring to my cameras.
@@DVSLTD Gdrive seems to be working good, though the videos don't play unless I download them, maybe because it's saving as h.265+ encoding? My issue was that in the web browser dashboard the list of cameras in the drop down were not displaying, but that occurs regardless of which cloud I select. Interestingly in the DVRs menu the correct cameras display. My next hurdle is to minimise all those false triggers :-0
Hi, thanks for the video. Can you automatically back up the entire contents of the NVR using this method instead of just alerts? I can see this in the comments but its an older video so was hoping for some updates? Will it overwrite the storage in Dropbox/Google the same as the NVR does? Thanks,
Can I ask you some questions please! If I use this Ip hikvision camera DS-2CD2120-I And insert a micro sd card to it. Then I setup the camera as you said on the video. Can it upload data directly into cloud. Or it need to save data on the computer. Then the computer upload it to the cloud? Or it need a NVR system for it? Thanks. And sorry for my terrible English
Hi Hubert, I have tried to get it put onto NVRS but they see Turbo in the market space that want that function whereas NVRS not , your right I want it on NVRS also
Can you get it to save all your camera footage straight to the cloud 24/7 and then get it delete the older footage once it gets full similar to how my camera hard drive works
hello am having analogue cctv setup however my dvr doesnt support cloud . am looking to have one that can have cloud storage to google drive kindly advise which CCTV DVR i can buy? can Hikvision iDS-7208HQHI-M1/S Turbo Acusense DVR work for me ?
I’m using a 7204huhi-f1 turbohd dvr and 2 ecid12f ip cameras. I went through the steps, even got hikvision to connect in and we couldn’t get any files to appear in the Dropbox. Google drive has seemed to have updated their security and it is not an available option, one drive does not bring up any prompt after clicking get. I’d prefer to use Dropbox anyways. Is this still a viable method of backup? Do I have to do anything to Dropbox other than be logged in and copy the authorization code? It says online, but no information regarding storage name, amount used or amount available show up
I haven’t yet, is there a specific type of account with Dropbox that is needed? I also don’t have my ports opened up, I have things configured through cloud connect and I am also in the US, I don’t know if any of these factors are important
@@zucum I gave up and configured it to email on motion detection. I believe it would get the same quality pictures sent to dropbox anyways (make sure to set it to BMP instead of JPEG) There is an email dedicated to those photos now instead of a dropbox
Thank you for uploading this. I have an issue that the snapshots that have uploaded to Dropbox are all from a few seconds after my test Line Crossing, so i'm not in the images. It's the same when I use Intrusion Detection. Any ideas on where I've gone wrong in my configuration/settings?
@@DVSLTD Thanks for your response. It should up to date as it was just recently installed by a CCTV company. I have gone to Storage>Record>Advanced>Stream Type. It states Dual Stream, but this is in greyed out lettering.
Hi, I have followed all the steps and configured my DVR model iDS-7208HI-M1/S to do backup on OneDrive, however the challenge I have is that i can not view the images in my one cloud account though the folders have been automatically created, any advise on what i should do to access these images?
@@DVSLTD thanks for your reply on this however after toggling platform access on and off and vice versa, i still find no joy as the folders remain empty
Did you find out ? I don't have a hard disk installed and only images are exported to Dropbox. So far I haven't been able to export videos. Is it the same for you?
Hello. Are there some problems with sending records and pictures from Hikvions DVRs to OneDrive storage recently? Actually our DVR (DS-7616HUHI-K1) configuration which used to work stoped and don't send any files to created OneDrive folders (they are empty).
What happens when Dropbox fills and reaches capacity with NVR Footage, does it write over itself or does it fail as there is no longer space on Dropbox?
@@sonicthedgehog9473 that’s ok, no its event based rather than continuous, it will upload the event as quickly as it can but a factor will be the upload speed from site
Great video but mine does not show Dropbox or any of the three options. It shows Cloud 1.0 and Cloud 2.0. Any ideas as to why is it not showing Dropbox and Onedrive? Thanks in advance

I have a DS-7332HGHI-SH. I can't find the Cloud Storage option under storage. I've googled this for 30 minutes and can't find a solution. I've uninstalled the web components and cleared cash then reinstalled the web components. Any ideas?

@@DVSLTD I have done exactly same settings like you. my dropbox got connected, shows green check mark, but doesnt show account credentials in it. also after saving it shows as offline. my dvr is turbo 4 with standard firmware

@@DVSLTD Hi! this happens to me too on at Turbo 4.0, only dropbox connect but after a while it disconnects, never shows credentials, one drive just opens a ms page with no code and google drive says "At the moment, access with Google is not available for this application Google has not yet verified this application to be compatible with "Access with Google", the same thing happens configuring from ivms-4200 so i'm stuck, i am in Mexico please help :(
Hi , if you want to download footage using IVMS-4200 and a P2P account, the download option doesn’t exist currently , the best way is playback the image required and press the record icon on the video feed tile, this will save it to the local laptop or PC and you can use it as needed, its something they are looking to improve.
@@DVSLTD already try the press recording icon on the video live or playback its work it. but my problems is when i try to back up the recording of cctv footage via Cloud p2p. Its already hide to download list recording. and also hide the schedule for the backup... its talk about the IVMs 4200. via cloud download the recording

Hi colin, that is great, do you know if you are using Internet explorer? If not try that 1st , if yes and still doesn’t work try this , go to the network settings and platform access, then copy the verification code, then under configuration and local tab , paste that code under encryption key and save, then try that
One other question, at the moment I’m only using the IE view in my house just wondering would this also work by the IP address should I want to view at my office in another location?
@@brentmastergeneral9 Hi , you can use the external IP of your router yes , not the internal one like 192.168.x.x , you also need to port forward the ports 80,8000,554 via the router , you can use the HIK-Connect method and add this to your phone , download HIK-Connect App on your phone, then register, then in DVR please go to the network settings and then platform access, enable HIK-Connect , then scan QR code with your App , it will add it
