Hi there, if you go to the Navigator Panel in your iPad document, you can change the Main View Mode to either Outline or X-ray which should allow you to focus on just the curve placement itself, without any stroke data being displayed while you're creating your lines. I hope that helps. Many thanks
Where can I get specific help for a design problem I can't find a solution for in Designer? I tried posting the specifics in the forum, but nobody seems to be interested or knowledgeable about pattern design. I need someone with experience in pattern design problems.
Is there a way to export to Spine 2d from Affinity Designer for iPad? I know it has it built in for PC but I cant find any tutorials for the iPad based application of Affinity Designer :/
Where is the Assistant Manager is version 2.04? I am new to Affinity and when I'm copying and pasting a layer it always goes to a child layer and I want it to be all parent layers. I searched Google and AD website and it says to go to View / Assistant Manager to change settings on layers but there is no Assistant Manager. HOW does one copy and paste to a new parent layer instead of a child layer? I tried dragging a layer to the left but of no use. I appreciate any help.
Hi you can change the assistant settings in Preferences. When pasting layers, tap the x icon in the bottom left to make sure no layers are selected, then paste. If it does paste as a child layer, hold the layer and drag it out of the parent layer to a place in the layer stack where the blue line goes all the way across and release it. I hope this helps!
