We need per-room lighting adjustments. One thing I've noticed is that lighting for sculpting or painting isn't adequate for rendering, but they're all universally adjusted, so I have to keep going back and forth in changes to see what I'm doing from one room to the next.
Thats amazing! Could we get ACES Tonemapping in the paint room viewport? Most people use ACES Tonemapping in Unreal, it is the default tonemapper. This would also streamline texturing and painting in 3D Coat to Unreal further. Currently we do not have the possibility to preview painting or textures properly for target renderers using ACES tonemapping, which includes Unreal, but a lot of people also use it in Unity and Marmoset. It woudl be great to have the option to enable ACES tonemapping for Viewport and Texture display inside the paint room.
After requesting it in the forums and providing details, ACES tonemapping was now officially implemented into 2022.33, and it looks amazing! Crazy fast and great work by the main developer. Now you can texture in 3D Coat and Textura with proper ACES tonemapping in the viewport! Making your results predictable for export to Unreal! Really fantastic
is there anyway to contact you about problems with exporting ? i followed you video but my textures import to unreal engine but not the static mesh ? thank you
