This is a very nice comment but perhaps it is not appropriate to confidently say that one is sincere as this from the unseen. I understand having good assumptions of your fellow muslims but to have certainty on a persons sincerity seems problematic

Also praising a muslims sincerity in their presence may be damaging and unhealthy for their heart as sincerity is such a big struggle in general yet you are giving shaytaan more of an opportunity to whisper and divert their sincerity to other than Allah ﷻ

According to Al-Sunnah way: when someone is doing wrong, you advice them privately. If they persist keep advising them. But if the person gets stubborn 😣 and keep insisting in misguidance, then you are allowed to speak openly about the person to prevent his misguidance and disease to spread around laymen and his followers. This will warn people to stay away from him.

I have a German friend and he converted last Friday and he asked me where is the best way to get the real knowledge.
