Options, concealed hammer pocket or purse carry and no snag, no holster which adds to the bulk and print problem. Never give an exposed hammer gun to someone you love as a gift for self protection, that hammer will snag on them, not worth the risk. You can cut the hammer off your snub nose since they a not target pistols, they are for up close, less than 1o ft. fights, you don`t even need sights.
I have found that most smaller revolvers have crappy triggers. Lots of creep and too heavy of a pull. I had trigger work on both my 640 and SP101 shooters. Their 12lb trigger pull was reduced to 8-9lb and some polishing and spring replacements was done. Nice and smooth now. Never carried appendix. Never will. Hammer or no hammer I really don’t care as long as the trigger pull and action are cleaned up.
Making me feel so much better. Modified an HandR Top Break .38 SandW to 2 inch with a bead sight. Having it plated again as we speak. Glad I left the Hammer alone
