From here on Earth using our own eyeballs, when will we ever get to see any of the other side of the moon, even a sliver of a sliver?

From Earth, we are unable to see the other side of the moon due to a phenomenon called "tidal locking." The moon's rotation period matches its orbit around Earth, resulting in one side always facing us. However, space missions such as NASA's Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter have captured images of the far side, providing invaluable insights into lunar geography and history.

@@spacerenew TY! I've been pondering a moon relative rotational conundrum. We are told that the earth is an oblate spheroid where it's rotating mass center crisscrosses the earth's steady rotational axis plane. Some unbalance exists between the four tangent points in the yearly elliptical orbit. That imbalance should bear on the spherical moon's free rotation where there is no complementing tidal locking effect. According to astronomers, no worries! However, in time we should expect a sliver of the moon to become exposed to our earth tied unaided eyes. IMO, a hollow moon theory cannot be entertained without first understanding why the moon is being held back from physical rotation. At minimum, a sliver observed on one side of the moon six months later should be observed as a sliver correction to the other side, it doesn't.
