I've never understood why on earth they wouldn't just tell them to report it to the police and help them to do it. They clearly are more concerned with how a scandal might affect the congregation (and therefore their income) rather than how the abused is affected. Sickening.
I have theorized that the ORG is afraid of potentially being sued by the accused. I know that is a ridiculous possibility, but that is how the ORG thinks about things.
@@bigd213d The BORG has been sued by several victims of CSA. Out of court settlements are made and the victims must sign non-disclosure agreements. Please do your research.

If my child was abused, whether from someone in a church, a MH, in public park or wherever, I would go straight to the authorities …no questions asked. It’s stupid to not go to those who are educated and/or trained to deal with this sort of thing, which is a crime. It should be a natural instinct of a parent (especially a mother) to do such.

You have mentioned the Branch Office, Elders, Secular Authorities, Circuit Overseer etc. It would help if you explained where they stand in the Pyramid of Authority. Is an Elder above a Circuit Overseer. Does the Branch Office answer to the Elders etc. Thanks in advance.
The org has no moral sense of duty whilst judging the morals of the world and society. This is the first I’ve hever had privy to the guidelines on this and I’m sickened . This shit happened in my congregation . The catalyst of why my fam left .
The main belief created by the men of the WTS is that Jesus really took to his heavenly throne in 1914 and from that year forward he was reviewing all of humanity to who was righteous and loyal to him and his father Jehovah for surviving the impending day of Armageddon . The GB men still propagate this (False apostate) doctrine to lure and hold people subjective to themselves, endeavoured strategically, freely and opportunistically. Religion is just a strategic game of power, control and money with some adjoined probable good with some bad attached, made mostly by men and their desire for power .

The corporation that started as a Bible literature and book/magazine publisher has branched out in corporate offices around the world to miraculously become "God's organization"! "Oh no! This couldn't happen in "God's organization"! So says the rank and file publisher in each congregation. No, it's NOT HIS ORGANIZATION, dipweeds! God doesn't need an organization to accept your worship. He just wants all of us to be spiritually and morally clean, and to live in such a manner so as to sanctify His name. ( Lord's prayer, --Matt. 6: 9) You certainly don't sanctify God's name by polluting it with disgraceful "sexual appetite"! I don't know how you were able to maintain your self control and control just "what words" you wanted to say; but we who have woken up wholeheartedly support your boldness and courage. As an ex-JW elder in the 90's; I too was able to download a copy of the elder's manual. Man! Has it changed! Since I was DF'd over an "invented sin" contrived by the elder's own opinions and consciences; I couldn't believe the over 40 reasons for shunning someone that are listed in their book! It's no wonder that so many are being disfellowshipped; because they've taken the 6-10 reasons the scriptures give and inflated it to over 40 reasons that a bunch of narrow minded, world isolated, old men decided was wrong! i have called on the police also explained at police stations about my neighbor selling Heroin from his flat even with evidence and yet they have done nothing over nearly three years ,so from my experience the authorities dont always act its from my experience
