I know absolutely nothing about this model and don't care enough to Google her to see if she is more intelligent than she is coming across. My first impression of her is that she is dumber than a box of rocks, and her baby talk language with Dylan (I'm assuming a significant other) is nauseating.

I know you talk a lot about brand morals and brands being cruelty free/not tested on animals, that you share brands that are cruelty-free and discuss brand morals a lot on your channel but do you think you could discuss the inter workings of this process of being labeled cruelty free and what it truly means. For instance a company can say that the product isn't tested on animals but the individual ingredients actually are since more testing is done at the ingredient level. Also since there is no standard or regulation by the FDA or any other agency and brands can determine for themselves, where is the truth in that label and does it even mean anything? Also when brands label themselves as cruelty free/ no animal testing do they state their alternative, I know some use human volunteers, cell cultures or computer models. But there has been a lot of talk about humans rights/labor abuses and what if some people are forcibly tested on. I'd really love to hear you discuss the bubble around the cruelty free world if you haven't already.

Genetics are the basics, but in most people it is the lifestyle which decides the final outcome. This is not only valid for skin health, but the whole body. Many twin studies confirm this. I really feel it too on a personal level that I need to work hard for something which comes naturally to some others. And when I slack off, my skin goes bad again. But during the priod I am trying, my skin can get better than those who have good skin and don't do much for it.

Hard truth: Being a skin care junkie almost my entire life, I’ve learned that if you’re beautiful it hardly even matters what you’re putting on your face- you’re still going to be beautiful, and if you’re merely average, no amount of skincare is going to make you as beautiful as the models that advertise them. It’s a fantasy.
@andmoreagain7
@andmoreagain7 3 года назад
I think most ''regular'' people are more gorgeous than the celebrities or models. What constitutes an average looking person for you? Also, looks are most definitely not everything and are deeply subjective, as well as merely a 5-10% of what attracts other people to us; even if it's a 100% of what attracts people in the first place to us, it's definitely not enough to make people stay interested in us... Other stuff are personality and well, some undetectable things, such as natural smell we produce and it somehow ''clicks'' with some people. And you are right, what they sell is a fantasy, that's why it is so important to focus ourselves on our health primarily, both physical and mental and in that case we will be happy and won't crave what they are selling us, which is essentially always happiness.

@@mariposa3859 The only brands that I know about that are publicly sold are Dermalogica, Murad, and I think PCA Skin. They are great brands that I have nothing against. However, there are loads more of highly effective, results-driven products that are ONLY carried and sold by Solo Estheticians, Spas, and MD offices. Those products, in my opinion, are more effective for each person's skin concerns. Seeing an Esthetician about your skin and buying the suggested skincare products is like getting a prescription. The products suggested and sold to you will be tailored to meet your needs and concerns. I suggest booking a consultation along with a facial, preferably a custom one, and going from there. Good luck on your skincare journey.

Hey! My family and I are beekeepers, one of the biggest reason due to the lack of honey bees is the pests in the hive and the pesticides that people put on their lawn and plants. So when the honey bees collect the pollen off the plants with the pesticides, it's like poison..... Taking honey from the hive is fine as long as you keep enough on the hive for them to last the winter. I'm happy that as a young girl you weren't afraid to get up close to the honey bees,And even now you can do a lot to them without getting stung. They dont want to hurt you bc they will die if they sting you...You'll only get stung if you attack their hive or try to kill them. They are defenders not attackers! The dead bees you see could be the bc of the pesticides, or it could just be the end of their time and were removed from the hive... I hope this helps a little, dry for rambling and jumpy from topic to topic

I heard that the biggest pollinators are not honey bees but wild bees who do not produce honey so the important thing is to preserve the habitat of wild bees, but also that many large scale commercial beekeepers feed their bees sugar water instead of providing them with plants containing pollen and this is making their bees sick. Is this true? I would rather spend a bit more for honey that has been responsibly produced, and even more if beekeepers were giving back to the environment and providing habitat for wild bees. I hope your honey comes from plant pollen because those are truely the most delicious! ☺

Honey bees aren’t native to North America. That’s why they are dying. Also, bee keepers that I know are very passionate about bees and are really good to them. Bees kept in “captivity” on bee farms do better off than those in the “natural” environment because BEES ARE NOT NATIVE. also, pesticides don’t help, I’m sure. The use of honey is not the cause of bees dying. In many ways, the use of honey has promoted a positive effect on the health and number of bees. Earth's bees are dying as a result of irresponsible pesticide use by shortsighted farmers. In order to make money from selling honey, a farmer needs to invest a lot of time, money, and effort to caring for their bees. If the farmer harms their bees then the bees will leave or stop producing enough honey to make a profit. So, using honey is beneficial to bees but buying of the 70% of foods in shops is bad for bees. This is because those foods were produced with pesticides. The pesticides have caused an autoimmune disease to form amongst bees and all the bees of the world are dying from it.

Hello I really like your videos, but the thing you said in the bee part I didn’t fully get. Honey production is actually very good for the environment because beekeepers have to take care of the bees in order to get their honey. Taking good care of bees is crucial for the environment and humanity itself because the whole ecosystem is build up on plants and plants fertile each other through bees. It isn‘t profitable for beekeepers to kill them, because they make profit out of them. In big productions there have been instances where the queen bee‘s wings were trimmed so she can’t fly away or deseases are transmitted through importing diffrent species and more really not ideal things. But that‘s not how normal organic local honey is being produced. You are right, more and more bees are dying, but that’s mainly due to monoculture and gardens without (the right) flowers. Certainly small/local/organic beekeepers will care about their bees more than big productions but in the end consuming/using honey is putting money in the right place. I care a lot about animals and I‘m vegan but in my opinion renouncing organic honey is doing way more harm than good. And if you really care about bees inform yourself about the crops that your local bees need. I would love to hear more from you about this.

There's an insecticide that's responsible for the decline of bees, not the bee keepers. Look at Monsanto and Bayer. You don't want dead bees as a bee keeper, there's less bee keepers around nowadays because their populations keep dying. I've seen them be in tears over the accusations that they were responsible for the decrease in bee population whist they were successful for decades to only now see lots of their bee hives dying.

I agree with everything in this post but that bee nonsense. Harvesting honey does NOT hurt bees, or beehives, and if harvesting honey DID hurt the colony in some way, the colony would LEAVE. They're not tethered to the hive, and the queen isn't trapped inside or something. The relationship between a beekeeper and a bee is one that is symbiotic. If bees are dying on your street, it's because your neighbor is using pesticide. Don't do this.

Hello Hayden :) 🐝keeper in training here. you're right in saying that harvesting honey don't hurt the bees. And if you do it right it's even possible to not crush any to death while doing it. And also we love our bees. However, especially when producing for big companies, that's people who don't care about the animal but the money. Queen bee gets their wings cut off or glued on so she can't fly away to get her colony into a safer place. And workers die with their queen, they are very loyal. Also they use "cheaper" products to reduce for example the varroa mite with very heavy acids. Bees smell with their antenna 1000 times better than dogs and when smelling these acids, they rip off their antenna because it hurts them so much :( Another product by bees is Gelee royal which is also very very unethical and cost a lot of baby queen bees lives. This is just a very short version of the honey factory and just a small example of things that hurt them. Worth looking into tho. Beesy regards🐝😊

Cassandra, just discovered your channel ! LOVE your honesty and the REAL analysis of the products your gave us here!! I always wanted to find a channel like yours that explains what are the ingredients in our beauty products, and to know also if the expensive brands are worth the price (and as expected, they're usually not, thanks to you for giving us an argumented explanation!). Take care and, please, keep going! ❤️
