definitely not opposed to buying swimwear second hand! it’s just fabric and it can always be washed multiple times just to be safe. i’ve been on the hunt for the perfect vintage (60s or 70s) bikini but haven’t yet found one that’s a realistic price and fit🥲 i’ve bought pyjamas and even socks on depop, i really don’t see an issue! i’m also with you on the hat obsession!! i’ve ordered one of damson madder’s big, candy striped ones and can’t wait to wear it this summer!!

i actually do agree, especially about it being fine after multiple washes!!! oooh i haven’t seen their hats specifically but i’m sure it’s gorgeous, love that brand 😍

I would totally buy the bikini. Just wash it first. Maybe tmi but we use towels/bedsheets etc in hotels/spas all the time that will have touched intimate areas and then been washed 😅

yes ahah i always think if i can use cutlery that restaurants have washed up that have literally been in strangers’ mouths then i can buy a new bikini secondhand

btw, the "alohas" shoes have another brand name on the insole and the quality doesn't match alohas. It looks like the seller just marked it as the brand for the style

i think you're right!! thanks for pointing out, i was a bit suspicious of them but sometimes my brain switches off when it's being bombarded by overwhelming choice, esp on resale sites where the pictures aren't always great 😅

love this video idea ! i've been obsessed with these jil sander mules that are unfindable... i have alerts on depop/vinted/vestiaire/the real real but nothing 💀i might settle for another model but once i have a fixation it's so hard to get rid of 😭. i'm trying to find good spring/summer shoes that are breathable but still comfy to walk in, i might just indulge in the ballet sneaker trend for that i think. i also have light layers in my likes, almost bought a green trench coat but it was marked sold while i was typing a question to the seller, still not over that lol. at least im staying frugal haha

Idk if i have a designated style yet for this summer. I did get a gorgeous pair of cowboy boots (Beyoncé summer after all) that I’ve been wearing and def plan to bring into the summer. I’ve found myself spending a lot of time on depop and liking a lot of items but i’m not committed to any piece at all; lowkey just close the app and the only things that stick with me are the items that the seller offers a lower price on. I think it’s also bc depop sends an email about the offer, then puts it at the top of the app when you open. A bit annoying, but I can’t get mad at people genuinely just wanting to sell off their clothes.

love cowboy boots for summer, they always seem so fun and easy to style!! i tend to do the same and like a lot of items but not actually buy them, i guess its bc so much of it seems to be bad quality that i don't actually get excited about owning it, i just like the style!
