China also was able to trade with already industrialised countries. When the UK started industrialising in 1760, there was no industrialised countries with which to trade, or form partnerships. They had to industrialise from wood and dirt. Comparing China's industrial expansion to the US and UK's is an insult.
Western media keeps criticizing China-is it because the West fears its rise? This constant scrutiny might stem from anxiety about China's growing influence and power on the global stage. Is this criticism a reflection of genuine concerns, or does it reveal an underlying fear of losing dominance to a formidable competitor?
China is not collapsing but restructuring caused by Covid, US trade sanctions, US import tariffs, and real estate developers going bankrupt (I used to work for a developer & I wonder how the Chinese developers MANAGED to go bankrupt). The Chinese economy is still doing OK as the world economy is in a partial recession.

China only achieved such rapid growth because they had the ability to trade and form partnerships with foreign countries who were already industrialised. It's quite a lot easier than where the UK started industrialising in 1760. They didn't have the luxury of importing already manufactured goods, or forming partnerships with german car manufacturers, like China did. They had to start from nothing... wood and dirt. It makes no sense to compare China and the wests industrial expansion.
The only crisis is the plundering of world resources climate crisis with the advantage of hundreds of years industrial revolution development invested into a country with corporate global investment nearing the 21st century where inevitably it is expeditious in its endeavours. We're all players in China's rise not just China. However the concerns mostly stem from what seems like a hostility towards the US or even the west compounded by Xi Jinping's threatening remarks towards the West. This analysis in my humble opinion is a little simplistic. Unlike the west China has the advantage of having over one billion assets.
