Im pissed at how Dreamy trashtalks Sevy when Sevy in particular is a positive guidemaker, never gets into trouble or drama. I get that Sevy's guide may not have the most detailed guide out there, but it gives the players who don't really pay too much attention into character building a vague idea on how to build characters. And she is a Genshin guidemaker as well, meaning that Genshin players that are not yet familiar with HSR guides or are new into HSR but familiar with Sevy because of her Genshin guides can go look up her guides instead. Smh, the jealousy is crazy 😬😬
I like watching Sevy because she seems so chill and her guides carry the same vibe. Her guides gives the right amount of info to build characters with the right stats, with pros and cons of lightcones and even how they work on auto. Like, what more do we need?
Honestly this. Sevy's guides (and Brax's and IWTL's, who I think is the 3rd being referred to) are so cookie-cutter that is so easy to understand for anyone. She also presents alternatives for those who want to try their hand at experimenting with characters! Also, her content is aimed at a larger audience so of course she's gonna get a lot of views!
honestly sevy’s an amazing content creator and for a while, her simplicity was lost on me until i realised that she prioritises making her videos super accessible over making them too deep. there are a few times she “slips” and you can see how deep her knowledge goes, like in some of the genshin guides where she talks about icd and in her hsr bronya guide, where she explains in detail how action value is calculated according to advance forward and speed, but she’s a pillar of the content community for BOTH games for the exact reasons that you mentioned! i’m so glad that, out of all the shared content creators we have between genshin and hsr, she stuck through it and pulls through 🙏🏼❤️ she makes non-try hards WANT to play the game 🤣

Hey Pokke, sorry to hear this happened to you & other creators. Shoutout to Volkin who is one of the biggest pillars in not just the Honkai: Star Rail community, but the whole Gacha community. He's in a league of his own and the effort he puts in deserves every subscriber that he gets. Good on you for speaking out and giving others a voice as well. Edit: removed "it's sad to see she would go this far 16:27 as to bite the hand that feeds her" since taking a second look, she's mainly replying to a viewer telling them "you don't need to do that (sub then unbsub to volkin)" so I don't want to take things out of context or put words in her mouth even if she's in the wrong. However, the multitude of other toxic statements blantly calling other creators toxic things cannot be excused (i.e. 22:06) Edit 2: Dreamy has apologized on her community post for the toxic comments made against Volkin & Gacha Smack 22:06 (doesn't mean it's okay now or everything is excusable), but there are some fair points she makes on her community post on certain statements taken out of context (i.e. evidence taken from a private server they are both in 23:26 when it's implied that the evidence is from her discord 1:26). It's important we take a look at both sides & be our own judge. I'm not excusing Dreamy's action (it's unacceptable behavior) I'm just correcting any mistakes I made or point out objective facts so viewers are less blindsided.

To this day, people still believe that Dreamy was innocent and Tectone was wrong, but truth says otherwise. What Dreamy did in the past plus what he has done now is wrong.

I'm a fan of Dreamy's way of explaining an unit's kit, but the way that they always "claimed" to invent a tech (which has been used by other players from CN server, non-content creator/small content creator (like Yellovv) players WAY before they did) is kind of annoying..
Yeah I found their 0-cycle videos interesting and entertaining even if I had no interest in doing it myself. (Like watching gaming speed runs for fun) I did also think it was strange whenever they made such a claim on techs, but didn’t really think much of it. However I had no idea they behaved/felt this way in the background. I thought they were just interested in the challenge of 0-cycles and not views or subs. 😔

One of the best part in this vid, is that, even when Pokke put himself under the label of "Artumbo 2.0", he admitted that as somewhat true since he did watch content from CN community and make content from it, but he, at the very least, acknowledged that he used existing knowledge of the game and make content from it. tbh, I am not really sure this level of drama is worth a 30-minute video exposing Dreamy as "THE MOST TOXIC HSR Content Creator." Like, I am no Dream stand, and sure they acted pretty shitty, but I am not sure I can get behind blowing this way out of proportion and taking everything to heart so much. Dream seems like they are just tilted that their channel could be doing better, but is what they did or said really that bad? This feels like your average RU-vid ego/entitlement that a good chunk of channels have. I may be jaded because other communities' drama I have seen has had a bit more weight to it (which isn't trying to discredit the drama here but just to put into perspective the reaction to it.), but a 30-minute video exposing someone for mild shit-talking and some ego seems a bit much.
I don't think that MrPokke is blowing out the proportion for making this video. I think he has the reason to do this. Maybe there's some small creators that has met with the same treatment and went to MrPokke for some justification, hence this video. And I agree that this video might be exaggerated for a shit talking. But then again, I don't want to underplay the mistakes Dreamy has made. Talking shit behind someone's back while also saying that you had no beef with each other is pretty damn contradictory. My point is, That this video is completely justifiable. The fact that Dreamy doesn't even consider the fact that 0-cycle in of itself might not be the only reason CC's get more views than them is insane. Like, do they not realize a lot of people watch content creators for their PERSONALITY? I don't really care about 0-cycling since it's just a way to flex your account, whichon it's own I don't find particularly exciting, but that doesn't mean I don't love Pokke's videos about it. You'll be surprised by how much people actually don't care about content creator's PERSONALITY, and only care about how good is the content. I mean, good personality is good and all, but Mr.Pokke here is spreading drama, which lowers himself to the same level as his enemy (Dreamy in this case. I don't see a problem from Dreamys side. Most of popular gacha CCs are just feelscrafters or showmen, with subjective "nobraineffort" content built on "what others have said", without any TC. I can watch Tectone for him being a deek and making a fun show, but i'll always ignore any info/takes coming from him (cuz he is damb af). I watch Volkin just to see what game looks like, not for what Volkin says. I watch GachaSmack for his stubborn onewayminded takes and ahole behavior (which are fun), not for content he makes. I watch MrPokke just for CN opinion, but i'll never make any assumptions or built my own opinion based on it; and i always ignore MrPokkes conclusions and takes, as any of them are irrelevant for normal players. I watch Sevy when i need a fast guide with general character info, as it has good structure. But when i need some actual objective and nuanced guide - i watch Dreamy and couple other small CCs, because they actually TC their stuff and don't base their opinion on whatever community is parroting. And honestly, i don't see any problem with Dreamy discussing other CCs on his private discord server. Him not liking some CCs is absolutly fine, and he can express it privately however he wants. Yes, he could be more humble, but noone is perfect. If anything, MrPokke making a drama video to make all of this public and to damage other CC career - IS WAY WORSE. Especially with his narrative. Your answer (which is also not in the Discord anymore) was that drama would stay off RU-vid. And yet now you seem to be embracing it. I realize drama videos are easy. I watch a lot of HSR content creators because I love the game. I do a bit of everything in the game, including 0 cycles. I am in the target audience of the niche Dreamy focuses on and I do enjoy her videos in that light, as I enjoy your videos too. I have watched your video to completion, Mr.Pokke. I believe you are being sincere in what you say and I think you genuinely want Dreamy to grow as a person and better her perspective on things. I hope for that as well. I think Dreamy needs to take a step back and reexamine her perspective on things. I hope she does so. As for why her content suffers, I think it's because she is so focused on a very particular niche, as you said, only a few players really care about. This isn't a serious competitive game. Doing 0 cycles is an opt-in challenge for fun to test our characters. For content creation, if Dreamy cares about appealing to more people, she should consider putting more of herself out there. If she doesn't want to show herself, she could use a vtuber model like many do. An audience likes to have a person they can attach to, a personality to relate to. It's supposed to be not just informative, but entertaining and manifest emotions that make you feel good about seeing them and experiencing what they have to show. But, before any of that, Dreamy really should reflect on how she looks at others. I can sense she has a lot of internal bitterness, and I can relate with life being hard in many ways, we all have our burdens, but that isn't a justification to be unfair towards others. Or else, we'll all have a justification to be mean to each other. We need to be mature enough to be kind to one another despite the burdens we deal with, even if at a basic level. I really hope Dreamy sincerely apologizes and genuinely takes steps to have a more positive outlook towards others and content creation. With this said, I don't expect anyone to be perfect, or for everyone to be a saint, by any means. I'm sure all content creators have their vices and moments where they aren't as kind as they ought to be to various extents. But, Dreamy has stepped a bit too far into that abyss going by what you have shown. For her own sake, she should re-examine things and make an effort to better herself and improve relations in a genuine way as to showcase a change of character. I'm not someone who has a cancel culture, no redemption mindset, and I will give any content creator another chance if they make such efforts. So, I hope she makes that effort.
If dreamy is just a normal person, no one would bat an eye. I know because i talk shit about how volkin jumping on every gacha that is trending, and gachasmack leading the race of being tectone 2.0, and no one would care. At the end of the day, I can see the frustration of not wanting to change yourself to chase views, kissing asses and making connections. One day you can laugh at that parody youtube for selling out and be a clown to china, yet now pokke can stand proud with his personality with his community. Fit in or not, its their choice, but I dont think you should fake it in silence if you want to blend in. (Just in this case of hating CC that you hate ofc, i dont condone things that go against society's standard)
I’m also the target audience, as I’ve been recommended her videos a lot. However it can feel like a bot video since there’s no voice and no face, so there is no attachment. You can’t make meta niche content and then complain about views, be happy that anyone is watching (only 5-10% of us even want to watch videos like that)

@@hnggg4427i recognize that Tectone has his issues, like every single content creator, but the moment that someone decides to lie about a content creator about things that he/she never did or over exaggerate stuff that did happen in order to make them look bad, then they are being dishonest and causing more issues. The fact that Dreamy himself admitted that Tectone didn’t gaslight him but proceeded to lie about Tectone is the main issue. He over conflated issues and lied behind Tectone’s back, just like how he did with MrPokke in this current situation, all the while portraying himself as innocent. Tectone isn’t perfect, but people are now starting to question a lot of the false narratives being said about him for years. This Dreamy situation is an example of that.

Honestly it’s kind of the same as any other competitive game there’s always going to be toxicity. Now hsr is pve so it doesn’t make sense to have drama like league or something, but I think since it’s harder than genshin it’s going to naturally breed meta slaves who are dramatic

They're a content creator so they have some kinda reputation to uphold, so it looks worse than it actually is. Honestly agree with this. Dreamy is a little egotistical but this whole thing is blown out of proportion. And the lack of a proper apology isn't helping
Kinda saw this coming, anyone who saw dreamy’s post tournament analysis saw how they had to explicitly mention that they gave their teammate (Moon), the idea to run Sampo hypercarry, with screenshots and everything. That and the whole ‘this is what real strategy looks like’ post gave off heavy ego vibes.
Tbh I’d think she/he/they would be fine to alternate w exactly since u don’t know their gender though they/them would have been nice since that’s what the streamer said they’d do (it’s really not that deep tho)
ngl I really feel bad for Yellovv when she was accused considering Yellovv aint even doing any strats vids or anything just 0 cycle showcase (one of which her vid was even praised by gachasmack) So seeing a somewhat ‘growing’ creator accusing fellow creators on public space casually was just really disappointing
I guess just my 2 cents as a viewer. I really liked Dreamy's videos initially because of the wave of "XYZ Character is Bad" sentiments at the start of the game. It was like the one bastion of hope for all of the Himeko and Herta enthusiasts out there, and the somewhat "holier-than-thou" tone of the videos was appropriate because it was disproving some misguided sentiments within the community. But nowadays, that sentiment isn't as widespread, so the tone of Dreamy's videos isn't translating well when other content creators can deliver the same info with a more positive spin. I'd just rather watch Brax have a good time playing Herta, rather than a video of someone lecturing me on Herta's mechanics. It's just not a formula that is going to work unless you're arguing the counterpoint to the common word.
I love Hoyo content creators. They fight with each other, trash talk each other & call other toxic while themselves are toxic lmao. You guys seriously need to chills, make actual game content instead of this drama bs.
Id also like to share my thoughts on this issue. I think some of the reasons why people view the "bigger" streamers is not because they can do 0 Cycle MOC content but because they cater to multiple types of players; from casual to competitive. Like in Mr. Pokke's case, when i feel all sweaty playing HSR i look for his MOC guides and analysis, but when im busy and just being lazy, i watch Mr.Pokke's streams for the humor. I honestly think there are varying degrees of how and what content the HSR community consumes which is why it pays to not be monotonous content wise. I could be wrong but thats just how i understand it.
Huh, I remember thinking that it's a bit of red flag when Dreamy was complaining about not having fun anymore when they literally forcing themselves to do a 0-cycle content with limited setup (I don't remember much about the reason though, it's been a while. Pardon me if I made a mistake). I was thinking about 'why not just make other contents then where you can have more fun?', but I guess with how they actually act, I can see why they start complaining like that. tbh if people starts trying to get more views instead of focusing on creating the content they want or what their actual viewers want, it's pretty much game over. But then again, that's just my opinion...I still like their setup pre-fight and plan just to get the 0 cycle though. It's entertaining to watch after each moc reset.
This is so disappointing, I watched the pvp tournament video and she played really well. She had great strats and really smooth rotations. Why does she feel the need to act out her frustration and ego like this? Keep that all to urself lmao
Honestly, this should've been handled privately through DMs, or maybe distance yourself from Dreamy altogether if her personality outside of her channel bothered you. Some of the words she said were distasteful and rude and from experience just cutting ties is usually the best way to handle things. Wasted energy on drama when you could be making better content instead.
while what is shown in this video was surprising to me and i don't disagree with many of the sentiments, the execution leaves a bad taste in my mouth. 1. i feel that it is unnecessary to purposely refer to someone by pronouns other than the ones they have listed and especially draw attention to that fact. additionally, it seems like that segment had an undertone of "this voiceless cc who presents as female online might secretly be male! how deceptive of them!" you wouldn't assume such if the genders were reversed because you're playing into the (outdated) collective assumption that everyone on the internet is male unless proven otherwise. 2. i don't see the issue with using tts/subtitles. it does make sense that that style of presentation doesn't do aswell view-wise as facecam+real voice, but i feel like that is just a subjective preference. this reminds me of when gatchasmack/tectone drew attention to how guoba chose to hide his face aswell. i dislike how choosing to do so is viewed as "cowardly" or inferior to facecam. personally, i respect people who put effort into choosing how to present themselves rather than limit themselves with immutable physical characteristics. 3. the voice generation is ai, but the scripts are obviously human written. i feel that the conflation of those two things was a purposeful attempt to paint dreamy's content as ai generated. this is obviously harmful considering that she probably puts more time and effort into her videos than the average cc, with strict style considerations and high effort editing. 4. referring to dreamy's discord server as a "public discord server" is disingenuous. many cc i know have their own invite only discord server, and if they are smaller/have a more insular community, then it is natural (if a bit unprofessional?) to treat that discord server as their own place where they can voice their opinions with relative confidence that outsiders won't see. as this video is entirely "exposing" dreamy's personality, it should be noted that she doesn't rely on her personality for videos (the antithesis of gatchasmack or tectone, if you will). in public she maintains professional conduct. that is how most people go about life: they don't sell every part of themselves because they're not perfectly sell-able. in conclusion, the reason this video was made seems solely as a "takedown" video. it feels unconstructive. you dug up the things dreamy doesn't publicly say about other people and used that to end her career. as far as i can tell (and it is not mentioned in your video if you did), you never reached out privately to dreamy first about her behavior before posting your takedown video? i guess, like, you paint this person as a villain without offering any constructive avenue for her to fix anything? when there is nothing egregious here that cannot be fixed, you just want her to stop... making content? p.s. as a litmus test consider what someone who has never heard of or watched dreamy's content before would take away from this video: "this guy pretending to be a girl is making ai generated videos and complaining that other people get more views than him! oopsie! i mean't *them*!" ^ if you are reading this, this is the "bad taste" that i am referring to.

To me Dreamy is a content creator who makes the most out of every character, typically doing so with e6 4*s and e0s1 5*s characters and purposely limiting their character's potential by not unlocking eidolons/using their signature to showcase their full potential for f2ps. And a lot of the time I am impressed by her 0 cycle clears, not that I impose such challenges on myself but impressed by her determination to make underrated characters shine. I don't think her toxicity is warranted, but please don't judge them solely based on the allegations shown in the video, I have been in their discord server before, people genuinely try to optimize their favorite characters there and is not there to breed toxicity and defame other content creators. I sincerely hope that we as fans of the same game can find the best in each other and learn each other instead of turning on each other with petty drama.
I love Dreamy contents and the effort she put in it but man, she s clearly in the wrong here, the viewership really drived her to madness. I hope she could take a break and maybe comeback stronger , of course after a public apology to the involved people.
I didn't know about this at all :( I really liked their detailed HSR character guides. Didn't care much for 0-cycle content since quite a number of them relied on less relatable min/maxed stats AND in-combat RNG like... does x character get hit for that extra energy charge. no? then restart... Hope they learn from this and become a better person.
I usually dont like to get vocal but the entire HSR Influencer community is a mess. On top of that everyone using the mess to generate views because appearantly there is nothing else to say about the game itself anymore. Hope the focus of everyone switches to the game itself again once 2.0 drops. Lets stay wholesome and hope no negative things arise anymore!

One thing I noticed about youtube vids with relativelyow view counts(not exclusive to HSR channels) is they are using Ai voice. He should atleast use real voice. Or go all out. It is how Artrumbo got ahead despite his issue. Voice carries genuine reactions and emotions.

“youtube doesn’t owe you a thing. your subscribers don’t own you a thing.” honestly so true and something a lot of people who can break into content creation successfully appreciate. the most common thing i see out of every successful content creator is constantly checking in on their audience: “what do you like from my content, what don’t you like from my content, what shall i make more of, what shall i make less of?” content creation is you making videos for the end goal of being consumed by your target audience, at the end of the day, and if you want to be “consumed” in a specific or glorified or entitled way, maybe content creation isn’t for you 🥶
In all honesty it's really easy building characters in hoyo games, people asking are either completely clueless or are just flexing the stats they currently have, no in between. I just click on guides and let it play in the background while I work or do other chores in the house. I'm glad horrible people are being exposed for who they really are, the people I end up sticking too are the ones other communities insist are bad but end up the opposite lmao. Joined hsr on start of dr ratio banner. Already RU-vid was recommending me hsr dramas 💀. And now this one just reminded me of a video yt recommended, someone used xuyei won 2000$ tournament or something. This is very disrespectful. Hope they work on their mind and become a better person. Getting low views maybe frustrating but they have to think that ppl like mr pokke puts so much efforts for making contents entertaining for the viewers. Thats why they get views not because of just some epic gameplays.

i love your content bro but i haven’t to be honest, this feels like we’re grasping for straws at this point. I get it, there isn’t much content until Penacony, but jesus man, i’m tired of the “drama”. the guy (or girl) gave their opinion on some creators that they don’t like. it was never once said that they hate them, or think they’re shitty, etc. I think the community needs to move on from this drama farming cause it’s not even “drama” it’s just filler content to post until 2.0.
