These are a great buy, I use them on my Slash 4x4. I only run short course bodies so I trimmed the rear body posts down.

Great video i wasn't sure where all the parts whent. This helps alot. One suggestion is that proline should include a link to this video on the extended mounts package so we can just click th link. Some people don't know how to use Google search lol.😀

Yes. these mounts will allow for a wide range of bodies including rally style bodies like the Pro-Line Ford Focus or Pro-Line's True Scale lifted truck style Chevy and Ford bodies

When the rear posts are at full length we include a support bar to help strengthen the posts.

Is there a new and improved tutorial video for this kit? Much of this video leaves out specific details when assembling the various pieces together. For example, is the straight “extra” cross brace really even necessary when using the standard Slash body on a 4WD? Not trying to be jerky, but lots of missing details here. Thanks.

Can you tell me what brand and model # of the electric driver you are using? Also where do you get the long allen wrench bits? I've been to several hardware stores since first viewing this vid and have had no luck finding allen bits like yours. Thanks for your help. BMCS

The Allen screwdriver tips are from MIP and you should be able to find them at a hobby shop (they can order them for you if they are not in stock). The electric driver is a Hitachi driver you can get on Amazon. Makita has one that is the same style but we love our Hitachi's here at PL. :)

I purchased a Proline Ford Bronco for my Team Associated 2wd SC10 but I can't find Proline #6071-00 extended body post because they were discontinued 😧 these are not available anywhere 😳

Unfortunately, some of our extended body mounts have been discontinued, however, you may be able to still find them on larger online shopping communities such as E-Bay or Amazon. you may also be able to modify our other body mounts to fit the SC10: www.prolineracing.com/extended-body-mounts-sc/

I was able to find multiple sets of these by doing a quick search for "proline body mounts 6071-00". Look for the hobby shops, they are your best bet in locating a set. They are going to be incredibly low in stock, so I would suggest not hesitating to purchase if you find it.

Everyone make sure you get the right part for your Slash 2WD 6070-00. I got the 6070-01 and it doesn't come with Secur-Loc, all you get are plastic parts... what's the point??? Their description makes you think it's a simple replacement kit... nope. Without Secure loc hardware, it's basically useless. Get 6070-00 it comes with all hardware. To be honest I'm not sure why they sell 6070-01... very confusing :-)

Thank you. Yes we do make the 6070-00 that is the kit, the 6070-01 that is the replacement plastics, and the 6070-02 that is the replacement caps.
