Great game for Manchester United, Ten Hag has built a great team and tactics. Long life to Manchester United, may be that a new era for this marvelous club.
@@AB-et2hq Both clubs have been on a decline ever since the retirement of their legendary coaches SAF & AW. I really do wish to relive the days when both clubs are actual strong title contenders again.
What? You mean all the plastic flags? Which they just started doing to create an artificial identity? They never used to do it and there is a reason no proper club or a traditional club does it because it looks very cheap and hollow. I guess you are new to football as you don’t know this.
@@kaushalyadav8605 kaushal yadav mate there is nothing wrong with waving "plastic flags". It is a common practice across EuropeZ They always had an atomsphere before rhe takeover.
Loved that little behind the back pass of Antony. Casemiro has been a welcome addition but what a smart move to go out and get Sabitzer when Erickson was injured. It was his beautiful tackle that led to Rashford's breakaway. Also Luke Shaw makes the kind of passes day in day out that win games. Kudos.
That Antony pass was just class. His ability to battle both St. Maximum and the other player and get the best of both . . his tenacity and confidence is way up there
It is. It was just very unfortunate and has since haunted him. Although I'm a United fan, I do hope Karius will use this momentum to pick himself up and live up the rest of his career in a better way. You can do it, Karius!
@@maspatul I'm a United fan too. It was a bad game for a young keeper. I was surprised to hear his name again but he played pretty well. Made some good saves.
@@realife1542 winning carabao cup after 7 years trophyless and spent over a billion dollar also not any major achievement...Fergie left and you guys were doomed...so happy to see you trophyless for more than 7 years ..
Yeah they've always had great support and while I ofc as a MUFC supporter loved watching ETH and the boys do the job I can't help but feel for the Geordies - that's the last three cup finals they've lost 2-0.
@@noneofyourbeeswax01 9 Wembley losses in succession, my friend. Their last domestic trophy was when I was 1 year old,in 1955 and last Trophy was The forerunner to The UEFA Cup/Europa Cup which was The Inter Cities Cup,in front of 60,000,in 1969. I am not a Newcastle fan but really feel for them as they took 10,000 away ,sometimes,in Division 2 back in the 1980's...
@@williamdavies6241 Firstly, would I be a "Blue" if I said, "they looked a good team? " Secondly, Citeh have won trophy after trophy while "the biggest Club in The World" (Not even the best Club in their own City( I am in my 7th decade of attending MILLWALL matches. It's a combination of stupidity and loyalty:)
Very classy move by Ten Hag to put Maguire on before the end so that he played in the trophy winning match. Even though it is clear the gaffer doesn't rate him, at least he paid him that respect. Now he can ship him out in the summer with a clear conscience if he can find someone to take him.
i think ten hag has a plan for him, i reckon ten hag has the power to turn him back into a decent defender like when before united bought him. he isnt going to replace varane or matinez but i think he will get chances
I’m so glad Karius is back. He played a good game as well, absolutely no chance to save these 2 goals. Made a few decent saves. I wish he plays more and more and more
Karius must be one of the worst goalies out there, honestly I don’t understand this signing,so far Edies signings has been spot on…why on earth would you want howler-prone golie in one of the best defences in Europe let alone EPL,is beyond me
@@martinzurko2762 why is he bad? Cuz of those mistakes in the final? Mistakes happen to everyone, to the best of the best. That’s a part of being a goalkeeper and that’s absolutely normal. It wasn’t the right timing for him and also people like you blame him a lot, so he struggles, but he is a good keeper anyway, not the best, but good. And he did well in this game against MU in the final after such a long break without official games. All he needs is people to trust him
@@Azzzz73you should search for a video explaining why Karius made those mistakes. A few minutes before he got a nasty hit to his head, the video suggests he had a concussion.
This is not sarcasm, dude's work rate is amazing. He might not score but his selflessness and dedication to team is insane. I think he never dreamt of playing for a big team and now he got it, he doesn't take it for granted. I hope we keep him, his presence as a top striker seem to help Rashford operate with more flexibility.
The passion and the camaraderie between the United players on both goal celebrations is exactly why this team is going to go places. They are together and they are passionate for the opportunities to win trophies
Finally, Erik Ten Hag succeeded in bringing Manchester United to win the first title for his new club. It is truly a proof that they no longer want to make jokes and prove themselves as an established and experienced club. Greetings from Indonesia.
Lord Karius wasn't terrible & did way better than what's been "ridiculed" of him lately too, hopefully he goes to some other Team where he can be the first choice Gk. 🙌🏽
Maguire's first trophy as captain with the club and boy did he earn it. He's back to his best and snubbed the haters, what a time for the club. Congratulations Man Utd.
ManU with a trophy that underscores EtH's vision for the club transformation. It's about winning games and winning games brings us closer to more trophies. So happy for the squad.
even its just a carabao cup,as a die hard fan if this club,i was crying because after so many years,we finally on our way back to be the best again..thanks eth !!
People forget Karius was class for LFC during the Champions League that season. The only reason he messed up in the final was because Ramos elbowed him in the head causing concussion.
After very difficult start of the season, no one has ever thought the day like this wil comes 🥺. All the dedication and decisions made by ETH made it possible and thank you very much for little joy of happiness in ManUnited club including staffs and palyers. Wow absolutely fantastic feeling 💪🏆😍. GGMU 🔴. Keep fighting 💪.!!
Casemiro will deservingly get the headlines, but I'd like to give the workhorses in the team some credit too. Weghurst, Fred & Bruno. De Gea, AWB & Shaw also don't get enough credit
I'm always proud of my club through highs and lows, I'm proud of what our new manager and the lads have done this season. A trophy well deserved and many more to come.
It have been long time coming, and lot of credit to our previous managers as well for all their work, but Ten Hag really deserves SO MUCH credit for this season so far. Even when we were winning and I was often wondering "how long will this last?" in post Ferguson ~ pre Ten Hag era. But now, I fully expect them to win or at least play really well. Trust in this team is REAL!
Good to see Karius putting on a good performance in spite of everything. Congrats Man Utd. New Castle did very well to reach the final. More to come from the toon
My name is Randy Austin from solomon islands. I am a long time fans of Manchester united when I was at high school. In those year sir Alex Ferguson the manager of man united. And players like David Beckham, Paul scholes, Andy Cole, Roy Keane, Ryan Gigg, the Neville Brothers and others and their goal keeper Peter Schumacher before Eric Cantona join man united. I remember wake up at 1am in the morning to walk half an hour to watch a final in which Eric Cantona score the only winning goal. Congratulation Manchester United for the win. I will still be a Manchester united fan until I die.
Alhamdulillah..i very proud of you all ...long time ago we not be a champions...but today we champions...CHAMPIONSLE CHAMPIONSLE..GLORY GLORY MAN UNITED
United fan here, glad we won the first trophy for almost 6 years...finger crossed more to come...everything seems to be in place now..also touched by the stern supports shown by Newcastle fans, kudos to u guys! hope u guys make it to the top 4 this season!
ALL I HAVE TO SAY IS ERIK TEN HAAG AKA ‘PROFESSOR X’ MY MANAGER🇳🇱🇳🇱🤩🔥. WE HAVE WON THE CARABAO CUP AND ENDED OUR SIX YEAR TROPHY DROUGHT😆😄😄. HOPEFULLY MANY MORE TO COME, WE MOVE ON AND AS ALWAYS COME ON YOU RED DEVILS❤️❤️❤️❤️
Yall so fast to upload it, and its an extended highlight. Appreciate it a lot!!! Like really! People outside Europe that have to watch the game in like 1am and have to go to work at 8/9am is having a dilemma, its one of important game for United but we still have to work😂 so to upload it that fast and extended is mean a lot!!
I thought Man Utd never got out of first gear. It was much easier than I thought. However, it has been a long time since Newcastle won anything and that pressure effects them. Every final I have seen them in they have been so poor.
Nice match but we really need to work on our late minute plays.. we are always pressured at the end of games thankfully we have a great defense. United for life
its been 13 years since i became a die-hard fan of this club, and for the last 6 years its hard for me to see this club going to difficult time. a love hate relation as they say. but now, ive never felt happy for this club to see them progressing and changing for good! hoping this to become just a start of something bigger. Congratulations Manchester United!!! GGMU
When you see Rashford winding up these days and screaming towards net, you just know something is about to happen. He’s really turning into something special. Great team performance.
As a man United fan,I am delighted to see that we’ve won the carabao cup, i really do think that Erik ten hag can take this club to its full potential,I have faith in him and I can’t wait to see what he’s got planned for the future
