Possible scenarios as I see it. Assuming Scotland beat Russia with the bonus point. 1. Scotland win with bonus point, Scotland go through. 2. Scotland win without bonus point but by more than 7 points and Japan don't score 4 tries, Scotland go through. 3. Scotland win by less than 7 points, Japan go through. Any other outcome and Japan go through. This would have been so, so different but for a dodgy ref call on Samoa's scrum on their own 5 metre line in the final play of the game. Homer decision if ever there was one.

All Samoa has to do is getting your heads have contacted with Irish tackler's shoulders and get them red carded or just taking a dive in every tackle and make sure you land on heads. If the IRB can't manage this system properly don't worry we'll fix it. Can't believe Samoa is on top of the list of yellow and red cards in this wc, looks like these rules were designed to limit our chances....bullshits.
