The commentary on these videos is getting better and better. This is RU-vid, u can make the videos as long as u want. Pls make them a bit longer. Cover more racing and categories, like Mali moto and classics. Make the videos 30 minutes for each day so u have time to cover all the things we wanna see. Thanks.
I'm pretty sure that these videos are broadcasted globally just with different commentary... they have to keep constant length when all videos are together
I would love a bit more coverage of the Dakar classics, especially those gorgeous Rothman's-livery Porsche 959s and the 911 SC Safari with that iconic Martini livery. Timeless classics
PLEASE make those videos longer. Just show more. If you are not sure if it should be included or not, then yes it should be included. Even if you don´t have some nice commetary to it just show it
Sam Sunderland, one of the true gentlemen of the Dakar, so sorry to hear you are out early Sam. The little Citroen 2-CV takes me back to the original Dakar of old. Trucks? Trucks? Trucks? Just a miserable few seconds of coverage towards the end of the days report, very poor effort indeed. Maybe because the big players MAZ and the KAMAZ Masters are not participating you don't think the trucks rate anymore? 🤨
It's not two horse power, but it's name comes from the 2 "tax horse power" or "chevaux fiscaux" in french abreviated as CV, the formula to calculate it changed but in the 50s it involved number of cylinders, bore , stroke, max rpm , and a constant called k of 0,00015 value, result of the formula was 2 for the 2CV
Safe to assume Kevin Benavides arrives at the Bivouac with no knobs left on the rear and the front still looking new. Endless wheelies and steer-with-the-rear style ⛽️👍🏼
You have more than enough footage each day to make longer videos. You show about 90 seconds of motorcycles actually racing each day. The race coverage needs overhauled.
When it was on tv it did do 30 minutes and do all categories This could be at least 20 minutes and give a bit more on each category We’re is the trucks
Surely a mention should have been made of Carles Falcon, the KTM rider for the TwinTrail team who is battling for his life after a serious crash in Sunday's stage.
We keep getting tiny brief glimpses of what LOOKS like a 959...... surely it can't be a true 959, and if it is, WHY have we not seen more of it (one of the greatest cars of all time!!). Even if it is not a 959...... can we get more of the story behind it? It looks amazing - the tiny 1 second glimpses we've had of it!!
Ive been following the Dakar for 20 plus years and look forward to it every year. The one thing i dont understand is how we get less and less coverage every year? I remember back about 12 years ago. OLN Outdoor Life Network use to present a half hour program. You would think in today's day and age we'd be able to get at least a half hour of coverage in North America???? The only way the sport will grow here is with MORE COVERAGE!!! CYCLE NEWS has been doing an excellent job since the start of this Dakar
I get it, i would love longer videos too. But its not that easy of a task. There is fortunately quite a bit more footage elsewhere if you follow team socials and youtube etc. Then also on sites like redbull tv.
@@Maniaak66then you must go watch vedios when dakar was hosted in south america. They posted 10 minute vedio of every category. You must be new . Just go watch on this same channel. So if that possible then bow they got better drones which are much cheaper and better coverage
@@Myrvold oh damn.. I did not know that.. Will need to look into finding a service with rights i can view here... Would be nice if they can add a purchasable ppv or something on the website for us small countries..
@@Myrvold so those tv rights weren't enterferring when dakar was hosted in south america. 🤣🤣 Good joke. Indeed in these modern technology era where kids and people are playing online games sitting in different parts of the world. They don't need media partners just upload on dakar official app and ask for pay per view subscription real fans will pay. Not a big deal just that dakar officials don't have vision.
