Hey. I have been watching your videos recently and I just want you to know that you have been doing an amazing job. Your videos have been insightful. I decided to bought the device and some dpr to stake. I have 20k dpr in my metamask wallet and I'm just waiting for the device to arrive.
So which country did you go through for getting RU-vid cheap? Do you have to change the country in your Google account? Or do you just run a secondary google account to get it done?
I received mine yesterday, it appears now that the entire body is made of plastic (not just the antennas). Besides being more cheap quality I fail to see how this could improve heating issues.
As far as I'm aware it's an aluminium composite of something. It feels kinda like plastic though. But I don't think it is. I have 5 of the new ones and the cooling is far better than the one I got for the unboxing video. They also apparently fitted a heatsink inside to pass heat to the casing to aid cooling.
No the Air needs an active Wifi hotspot to connect to, then it creates a new encrypted hotspot for you to use. You could use it as an extender I guess. The new firmware that's being pushed now has ACL which allows you to set different tunnels, for different devices which is pretty good. But as a router, it's a passthrough device, so doesn't have anything to do with port forwarding, DNS etc etc

Of the token? I expect strong stabilisation on the 28th when genesis mining gets reduced. Then a slight growth when the Deeper Airs get delivered as people buy Dpr to stake. Then it could go up or down depending on if people hold mining rewards or sell. The token I think will start moving rapidly when mining ends and the DPR burn mechanisms are all in place 2025. Long term hold for sure for me. Not financial advice obviously 😂

It’ll use ipv4 or ipv6 depending on your provider. You mean the private ip address on the status page? That’s issued by the router as I don’t have a public ip. In fact, as this connects to an existing network, it’ll always have a private ip address. The Mini is a direct connection and can get a public ip. The Air is for travelling. The dVPN is decentralised in any case regardless of the ip.
For mining rewards up until 2025, plus when NPoW is released to everyone, then they'll earn that way too. When mining stops in 2025, These will all be able to earn NPoW.
Sounds like there will be deep discounts for the Pico due to its lack of participating in NPoW and perhaps future opportunities. I hope the Deeper Connect Air doesn't suffer from the random 'lock-ups' that the Pico currently suffers from..
I've staked my Air I got for free for the unboxing videos to Tier 8. But It's plugged in and sharing now. It's not skipped a beat and has been sharing consistently.. The hardware is way faster than the pico.
