I have a 2018 SG and just re watched your video. I live in Wa. state and we get a "fair" amount of rain here so I ordered one. Even if it only helps a little bit it may be worth it. Came to 44.50 us dollars.
I fitted mine a year ago and it's still on. I had a lot of messages saying it won't stick but providing you prepare properly and make sure all surfaces are really clean then you will have no problems but I did also use an extra adhesive. It rains a lot in the UK and Im really pleased Ive got it. Ride safe and thanks for commenting👍
I just did this. the pyramid plastic double sided tape peeled off after about a month so I pulled it off before it fell off... I ended up having another go with a few bits of external use double sided tape and used some black automotive sikkaflex polyurethane adhesive. Seems to have worked but time will tell. I also put a Chinese chin spoiler on - looks good actually.
oh and re: the radiator damage, get some flat black paint and use relatively dry paint brush and you will take the shine off the radiator and will barely see it..
I bet it was a lot cheaper than the £100 plastic guard I bought from motea to protect my oil cooler. What are HD thinking by not giving it a little protection
Hi, My intention was to just use the supplied adhesive pads but went with the additional adhesive just as an added security. no reason why you cant just use your own adhesive though. For info, the fender extender is still on and working well
