Split stance landing is helpful especially if u have an elbow flare cuz u align ya shooting hip easier that way as well. Tryna make that landing more 2nd nature to me

With the lower lift point to increase range, do you add more speed with the release ? Do you shorten the release at all?

Hey coach, what should change when shooting from different ranges? I tend to shoot better from an arc (2 metres away from the 3 point line) than other places. If I am standing just behind the 3-point line, I will overshoot it unless my lift point is slower (which doesnt translate to real game situation). And when in the 2 point arc, I will usually go with a floater because I can control it better than with two hands. Any tips?

Keep practicing your 3 point shoot until it gets comfortable your release will get faster over time

Coach is it necessary to put rotation or back spin on the ball... I mean i am not getting it on my shot still I am able to shoot well.... Do i have to force myself to get rotation on the ball??
@pjb4372
@pjb4372 4 года назад
id say yes, for me personally i put a lot of spin on the ball. because the more spin that there is on the ball mid-air then the straighter it will drop straighter. its called the "Magnus effect"
