Externalizing EU Migration Management Policies 

This webinar was held on the 20 October 2022 as a part of the ASILE project training. The panel debate consisted of: Eugenio Ambrosi (International Organization for Migration), Tamás Molnár (European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights), Inma Vázquez (Médecins Sans Frontières), Cecilia Vejby Andersen (Danish Refugee Council), Christian Mommers (Office of the Council of Europe Commissioner Human Rights) while Sergio Carrera (Centre for European Policy Studies) was a moderator of the debate.
It assessed the externalisation of migration management policies in the European Union in light of refugee protection and human rights. It focused on key issues related to responsibility and accountability of EU Member States and European Institutions policies externalizing migration management to third countries.
