Hi!! That’s interesting!! Barney is actually in the Backyard Show and he’s teaching children to use their imagination and nursery rhymes and shapes and colors and more!! He wasn’t a blanket or a teddy bear at all! He’s actually a dinosaur who is friendly! Much friendlier than the other dinosaurs in real life!!
This is very interesting on what Barney is originally gonna be intended. Originally started as a blankie, and then a teddy bear, then a freaking sea serpent, and then Barney dressed in a hip 80s fashion that's insane!
@@BarneyMillennium, it’s a good thing they didn’t make him Cecelia the sea serpent The estate of Bob Clampett (former Looney Tunes director and creator of Cecil the Sea Serpent) could have sued the Lyons Group.
When you were talking about a character named Sea-celia that never made it for Barney a day at the beach. I think the character could have been a side character when Barney and the kids use their imaginations to get to the beach, and one thing for sure if the costume could have been made to bring to life the character. She wouldn't look like a sea serpent to me, she would look like some kind of sea monster. And she would be like a family-friendly sea monster character of the sea monster creature from that horror movie, I forgot the name of the movie. But I remembered it comes out of the ocean walks on land and so on, I really forgot the title of that movie. Because a sea serpent is a sea creature monster that doesn't have any legs and doesn't have feet, it's whole entire body would be a reference to a snake. Just like what I used to see from the original submarine voyage that used to be at Disneyland from 1959 to 1998. I really wish Sea-celia could have made it into the episode, and I wish that both she and Barney could have been best friends
For Barney’s final design they changed his teeth 🦷 from razor 🪒 sharp teeth 🦷 into straight white teeth 🦷, they also made his toes yellow, his tummy green and his green spots on his back and tail also green
I was in pre-k in about 04 and I remember the teachers putting on some kind of weird old Barney VHS tape and Barney didn’t look the same at all (looked more like the old version) and it traumatized us so they turned it off
At 3:39 when you were explaining of what the characteristics personality could have been for Sea-celia, that kind of reminds me of the same personality from the Disney character Sisu from Raya and the last Dragon. I wish she could have been like Sisu from Disney's Raya and the last Dragon, and one thing for sure. She could have sang the song that we all know and love and is one of the most popular Barney and Friends songs, boom boom ain't it good to be crazy. It would have been really cool if Sea-celia could have sang boom boom ain't it good to be crazy
S14 was intended to be a "refresh" of the Barney & Friends concept, and a bigger reboot that would have focused on Barney's "land" rather than the park was planned but was ultimately cancelled along with the show.
@@BarneyMillenniumAnd what about Barney & Friends (2017) reboot when Barney is a baby tyrannosaurus rex which he will be a learner in scrapped 2017 which a turn as a spin off of Barney & The Backyard Gang and Tom Kenny as a voice actor of Barney The Dinosaur?
Seacelia is only present in the first draft of the script. She was replaced with Barney in the subsequent re-writes, and the final was used for the actual production.
