If you run and quickly move mario to an angle before jumping you can get some great height, very useful in some tight spots as long they're not too tight, like those timed crates you were struggling on. Seems like doing those flips there may been the intended strat from analyzing.
@@nataliehergerdt6571 Thanks for the compliment! I always feel like I fail at one section of a level way too much lol But it could just be me being a bit self critical. I know I'm not a M64 expert, so I hope I bring a perspective to the game for level designers as someone who doesn't know the base game all that well.
