We need power plants with nuclear energy and coal and not a dictator. Then Germany could also have massive profit by exporting the energy instead of ruining the landscape and waste hundreds of billions (which they already did). By the way "2%" as the government conform moderator mentioned is about the size of the whole saarland and we already almost dont have any nature left in germany. We have one of the highest population densities in the world, much higher than china PLUS about 50 PERCENT of germanys nature has already been erased for agriculture. We already have almost no nature left and every 5 km is another town, city or village. Also in this series they present themselve as if they are "critizising" the government but that is only short them, if you look at it long term you see that all the german satire series exept for "die anstalt" are promoting exactly what the government wants. The government is going towards wind and solar since decades, the series is basically telling them to go FASTER but the series is never telling the government to do exaclty the opposite of what they do. Long term they always go hand in hand with the government, no matter what the people want. You are probably thinking that nuclear power or coal is bad for "the climate".. Save your energy, they always find a way to sell people their inefficient shit ( in this case wind or solar ). ONE nuclear power plant produces the same amount of energy like 3.000 wind turbines... If you want to waste your money for that or put one in your own property, do it. But dont expext others to pay for your egoism. And then this wish of beeing a "dictator" man... you really dont see where you are going

But why is France's nuclear energy company so bankrupt that it had to be socialized (i.e., bought by the state with taxpayers' money), and why is it that this nuclear wonderland buys more electricity from Germany than the other way around? Germany is said to have about one third built up areas, one third forest, and one third agriculture. Without knowing the exact numbers (which regionally vary anyways), when I look around, that's probably true. And that every 5 km or so there is another village or settlement, yes, of course there is! They all arose from farmers' settlements many generations ago. Not everybody wants to live in a mega-city where you don't even know your neighbor. You say the government is going faster towards wind and solar, and I tell you, they're not. They definitely are not. The technology was available since the 1980s, and they did nothing back then, because oil and gas were cheap, and we had to employ our coal miners. Then reunification came and we had to cope with that. There were always excuses why they had to delay the development of renewables, and then there's bureaucracy. It took me half a year to get the paperwork done to put some solar panels onto the roof of my house. When it was finally approved, winter came, so I waited another few months, and new, more powerful solar panels were available. I just had them installed and basically ran an illegal power plant for another half a year until I got it licensed. I'm not sure about your criticism of "Die Anstalt". Yes, it's broadcast and produced by the ZDF, which is public, fee-financed television, and their news are much in favor of the government. But that doesn't necessarily apply to satire. I must admit, however, that they have adopted the government line in recent years instead of being as critical as they were before. However, still worth watching. Better than the "heute-Show", which goes strictly parallel with the government.
