Ricotta cheese Stuffed Shells are the perfect dinner and it's a family favorite. See how easy it is to make stuffed pasta shells.

►20 jumbo pasta shells, cooked to package instructions
►1/2 medium onion, chopped
►3 garlic cloves, minced
►1 tsp salt, divided
►1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper, divided
►1/4 tsp dried oregano
►3 cups marinara sauce
►15 oz ricotta cheese
►1 large egg
►1/3 cup parmesan cheese
►3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese, divided (8 oz by weight)

Hello Natasha, we prepared this for dinner this evening and it was a hit! My niece helped me and she loved it. When I told her that you said to tell her hello from you, you would have thought it was Christmas morning! She was so excited! Thankyou, that made her day.

@@daniellegrandpa Hi Danielle! Did you make sure all the excess water was out of each pasta shell; it is supposed to be a little juicy. What I did was uncover the dish towards the end and you can broil under the broiler for a couple of minutes to a golden brown. That will help take any extra liquid out, but not dry it out. Hope this helps.

Hi Natasha, there are only two cooking channels I watch, naturally one is yours. I'm a grown man and watching your son's delight with your cooking reminds me of me with my late mother who passed away 12 weeks ago. I always started to salivate the moment she said what she was going to cook. I could never eat just one portion of her cooking, always seconds at least! I would happily cook for her and she always complemented me, saying she taught me well but I always found that my cooking was lacking something even though she denied it. You bring back happy wholesome memories, thank you.

Stuffed shells were always a favorite of my mother's recipes growing up. It's a very simple recipe that only requires a green salad to make it a complete meal.

I made stuffed shells a couple of times and I would normally pour the marinara sauce on top and then top it with cheese and put it in the oven, but today I followed this recipe and this is waaaaaay better, I could actually enjoy the taste of the different cheeses and my daughter loved it .So I will continue to make it this way. Wow - there is a reason there is not ONE dislike. This recipe has a great technique and I am going to make it tomorrow. Will add a cup of diced, cooked butternut squash and sautéed zucchini just to add more colour and nutrients. For my neighbours family that just had a baby!

Sounds wonderful I would also add mushrooms and some Italian sausage and fennel seed to the sauce. I saw a hack to cook the shells add hot water to shells and let sit for half an hour to get perfect al dente.

Hi Natasha, thank you for the recipe and video. Our family love this creamy pasta. We couldn’t find jumbo shell pasta here so I replace it with penne which is equally as lovely. I didn’t get to stuff the cheeses filling. I instead mixed penne pasta with the cheese filling then place them on top of the tomato base. I enjoy all your videos. They’re easy to follow and delicious.

Hi Natasha, another winner, I just popped it in the oven! I added 5oz ground beef, the sauce is simply killer!! Edit , well dinners over, we are STUFFED, yumm! Also we have leftovers!!!
