When I was 13 years old back in NZ when we watched the final.. i cried when All blacks loss 😭 now I’m older and having an understanding, I’m so Happy that South Africa beat us , because it made their nation come together as one 🇿🇦🇳🇿❤️🙏🏽 God bless South Africa Love from NZ 💯
The symbolism is on purpose. The officers could just taunt the kid and almost arrested him but decided to leave him alone and were kind enough to get him a Coke. By the end they're holding him like he's a surrogate son. I think the underlying message is that we can use our power to nurture and heal instead of hurt and antagonize.
1995 Rugby World Cup the most memorable rugby world cups in South Africa and most stressing Rugby World Cup.Thanks to rugby it united a whole nation that went threw so much polititions.29 years later South Africa won over 3 world cups.Amabokoboko yebo Mzansi❤🇿🇦Proudly South African❤🇿🇦
Yes but also tore them apart, everyone is fucjin pissed, 2nd best rugby team last world Cup, changed their style now they suck all north teams now beat them. When smash mouth style 2 years agon2nd best in world. 1 reason for athletic blacks. Why shalkl burger is in london. America should be 1,2 white and 1,2 black. I like bokcs style smash mouth bad assessment now suck. Do what I do get skill guys who cry play 7s linebackers play rugby. Perfection everyone wins
Shosholoza, an Ndebele song once sung by workers separated from their families in Zimbabwe that has since become a South African sports anthem and general song of national pride.
I've watched this great film so many times. I can never get tired of it. Mandela united a nation back in 1995, Siya Kolisi & Rassie Erasmus have done it in 2019. #StrongerTogether
Yeah, you're a Trumpie/MGTOW/male supremacist, Trumpie. Your playlists are a cornucopia of rapists, racists, hatemongers, and white- and male- supremacists.
Merci clint 😉
Who's here after South Africa winning the 2023 world cup? Delighted we Irish beat you but end up winning the entire thing, perhaps our Irish luck rubbed off on to you. Glorious game.
I saw both Springbok final victories in Japan in 2007 and 2019. The last one, obviously, unforgettable. I have South African born siblings to swing allegiances as well
I was 16 at the time of this game in Cape Town, South Africa, and I'll never forget I couldn't see the game coz I was working at a fucking clothing store called Ackermans for a measly R35 or $20 in today's money for the whole day. Just more proof that you'll never say at the end of your life that you wished you worked more, but rather, that you wish you experienced more things in life
The real story is so crazy to me because it sounds like something that was over romanticized but it wasnt. The first black president of South Africa favors progress and forgiveness and then the country wins the world cups which further brings it together
I live in America and America's favorite sport is football but I respect the sport of rugby and South Africa which also they have the same passion there as we do here with football... This Indian always gets me chills... And I was happy for their friends... Now I know sports are just in games and are more in life than sports... But we need a break from reality sometimes and love us chooses a certain sport... People deal with daily problems and politics and depression.. so when we watch our favorite team in our favorite sport.. it can make a difference in our lives especially if your team is winning and there are times when we see our teams losing.. but you got to stick with them if they make the championship and win like this team did it'll be all worth it and it shows us that even though that life itself is stacked against us when it comes to odds that you keep fighting you keep trying just maybe just maybe you can reach your goal..
I thank this movie. Due to it I got introduced to rugby, the most popular sport in world. Since association football is just business, it's not a sport anymore. That's why rugby rules. We are struggling hard and the results are quite remarkable in order to get rugby popular here in Brazil. just 10 years ago there were practically nothing. Now it's the fastest growing sport down here. Hopefully we will be a pain in the butt for the major teams really soon! Go tupis! Cheers.
Bruno van Simon Well I mean football is the most popular sport but even then considering you don’t see it as a sport then cricket would be the 2nd most popular in the world
He was such an inspiration. Human instinct is to seek revenge to those who have oppressed you, but he didn't have it in him. He was all about forgiveness even after 30 years in jail. Truely exceptional human being
Next weekend on Saturday 2023, will be the 28 year grudge match between bokke 🇿🇦 & all blacks 🇦🇺. Finally we will be able to relive this match & retain our honour & trophy for SA❤ Go Springbokke 🇿🇦🔥🏆
I remember this so well I was so upset as an All Blacks fan was only 11 but burst into tears as the all blacks lost my father was going off his head we couldn’t believe it that he nailed the drop goal
Bryan Habana attended this game, it was at this game he truly discovered what rugby was all about. Chester Williams was obviously a huge inspiration, Mandela was also impactful on his life. Twelve years later, he was instrumental in South Africa winning another rugby world cup. Mandela, the Springboks, and that tournament drastically changed that country for the better. The tournament encouraged so many black South Africans to play rugby, who greatly changed the trajectory of the national side, and their country, by encouraging racial harmony.
New zealanders respect the south Africans hugely. Proud history between the two!! My friends who are south African lived in nz for a time. Amazing humble people!! Massive respect!!
