These killings are happening because there are no laws to protect men. Wifes can cheat and put their husbands in fake rape/dowry cases and escape but men don't have such privileges, so they resort to murder instead of filing a case. Logically it is the best option for middle class people even though it is inhumane. And these things will keep happening until gender neutral laws are made. I do think that the punishment these women in the videos recieved were a bit extreme but I don't feel bad for them at all. Be ready to face judgement if you're doing wrong to someone.
