Thomas DeLauer just dropped a Dollar Tree video at the exact same time as this one, and we did not plan it! Go check out his video afterwards: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-VwJ9Mnzul8o.html
Why are non organic peas okay? You always say to never but nonorganic legumes. Peas are legumes And why alkaline water? It's literally just neutralizing your stomach acid which is very bad
I bought a bunch of that pink Himalayan sea salt from Dollar Tree and my daughter thinks we’re rich now because she learned in school that salt was used as currency 🤣 I remember Bobby pointing out that salt at Whole Foods and it was like $5 or $6 a bag!! So I snatched it up. 😊
Wow! I'm shocked! About the non GMO kosher pink Himalayan salt. I've always skipped past the food isle at dollar tree because its a dollar store I thought they would have nothing good, poor quality, no good food brands. Plus my dad always taught me to never buy any beauty products or edibles at any dollar store for that matter. But nick knacks like paper towels, and trash bags are fine. After seeing this video imma have to check out the Dollar Tree near me food aisle lol 😅🤣 imma Traders Joe's & Whole foods girl thou so when y'all see me up in there don't assume I'm doing my grocery shopping up in dollar tree, ya heard!
Live in Roanoke Va. Dollar Trees rarely stocked here. Went to 3 and finally found the Pork Rinds, asparagus, salmon, etc. You would think since they are a RETAILER that they would stock the stores. My nearest store Mgr to l me there was no money for restocking?????????
Love the Budget Hauls! I ordered the splatter guard you recommended through your Amazon link and was not disappointed. However, I so appreciate that you point out affordable alternatives that also get the job done! Thanks Bobby.
Manhattan has great dollar trees and queens as well i can name a few spots but while I lived in Florida I saw what dollar tree was really like it was awesome ours definitely don’t compare
Being on a budget of about $60-80 a week for two people, I so appreciate you and Thomas DeLauer making these videos (even if it was an accidental collab)! AND fir reminding us not to be too snobby about what we’re willing to eat when on a strict budget. I’d rather eat an occasional Chinese frozen salmon than Hamburger Helper. So thank you so much!!
You’re kind of proving that there are no excuses for where somebody lives; you can find healthy eating.. anywhere. Even if that persons town doesn’t have a Whole Foods. If we’re informed, we can eat healthy.. even in a dollar tree!
Thank you for the extreme budget hauls! My family has been hit by a series of unfortunate events. We have been having to eat food that we get though the food pantry with the occasional purchases of a few snacks from 99 cent store and the dollar tree. Then we get chicken and eggs from aldi. But it's been extremely hard to stay healthy when before I would grab whatever I thought was best, I now have to grab what stretches. I'll still continue to watch your other videos as well. My husband and I love your videos!
Hi I am truly sorry to hear that. I know that I've been through pretty hard times not just once but a handful of times and Dollar Tree has saved my butt. I just started watching the video so I don't know if Bobby shows this or not but you can buy dry beans at Dollar Tree you can also get lentils there which I sprouted and I also cooked to make soup. I have also done food at a food pantry and usually the healthy or "weird" stuff was left because people didn't know what it was I think purple corn chips taste way better than yellow ones. :-) Things will get better, as hard as it is to believe sometimes, they will. Life is like a roller coaster you got to hang on. Good luck to you! 💗😊
@@SuperStarDIY thank you so much! Yes I'm certainly not keto on a budget. My family's diet is a lot of beans, rice and veggies with the occasional chicken or egg mix in. I got a bunch of green lentils at the food pantry recently so I have to find some recipes that will taste good. I'm hoping next year we'll be back on our feet. For now, it's been interesting and eye opening to use what I have. If anything I've learned more than ever about food and getting creative with what you got. Thank you for the positive message!
@@breannastrother9501 Hi, YW! 😊 I know how tough it can be. I'll tell you another secret , I got some stuff from the food pantry that was expired and I actually called the companies, told them, and they sent me new items. I was so grateful. 🌈 What you will learn from this horrible experience is that being broke will not break you and that you're stronger than you think you are. At least that's what I found it taught me. Wishing you all the best, Jennifer 💗
Hi Bobby! I joined Thrive Market. I have a remote cattle ranch in the mountains of Colorado. I was sceptical about delivery....a problem with Amazon. I am happy to report Thrive ships with fedex and my delivery came in 4 days....food is great and delivery is impressive! Thanks to you, i don't have to drive over a snowy mountain pass to get to a health food store! Whoopppee,
That's really neat, I've never even thought about buying their food but think I might try the salmon and I know I'll be searching for the salt. Thanks!
Wow , glad I watched this video. You approved some items , I like 😙😙. My local Dollar Tree staff know my face , too well 😁😁. Now I have to go to other ones and shop . Most dollar trees are Adding so much , more since Covid Started . Thank God for them and the entire store chain 💪💪
@1:11 That Supreme buffalo sauce is amazing. Amazing straight up wing sauce. Stocked up 4 bottles last time I found some because they seem to go fast. I can't find it at any branches around me now :( Great video!!
Thanks Bob you really help me and my family as we are diabetics 😔😞I really thank you appreciate you helping us you’re the best and I like when sometimes to the dollar store bless you and your family keep up the good work❤️👏🏻🙌🏻
I am truly grateful for this video, this year even Wal-Mart is too expensive... I shop at whole foods for clean food and then I gotta starve for the 2nd half of the month and of course eat dirty dollar burgers from McDonald's. Looking forward to visiting the dollar tree when I get my food stamps.
I need to shop here and save now as a necessary now...its great to see that even on budget i can get decent stuff as I'm also pre diabetic and like to keep it that way....
Bobby why don’t you ever visit Fresh Thyme, Mariano’s, or Jewel? Fresh Thyme on Elston is very similar to Whole Foods. They also have a good vitamin and supplement section.
It’s already snowing in Chicago. Snow more than likely will come to Ohio. 🤦🏾♀️. My dollar store don’t carry nice items here. I am HIGHKEY jealous, Bobby
Thank you Bobby. I was wondering how I can live a mostly clean and healthier life style as an amend to myself. I went to dollar store today and found most of the stuff you pointed out that I have been wanting to try.
That cauliflower rice is excellent with broccoli and rice it was a hit for our Thanksgiving meal not a one of my children or grandkids knew about it until after they had eaten it and my grandchildren Loved it and they are in their hands 20s and high teens & I loved it..
Hey Bobby, #HappyNovember #SundayFunday The cauliflower rice is a good find, wonder if my DT has it too. 🤔 My ideal candy as a kid was snow caps & a Wachmacallit bar 🍫❤️✌🏼
Hello from Florida! Love the snow sleet combo for the finishing minutes. You did a lot with a little bit there in dollar tree , but I agree there are hidden gems all over. Somebody just needs to steer you.!! Thank you
Hi, Bobby! Thanks for all the great videos. When you turn packages over to read the ingredients, would you mind showing the entire nutrition label for a couple of seconds? I find myself always looking up the product to get that info, but you could spare us that task by just flashing it. Much appreciated!!!
Hey Bobby , the cauliflower you recommended is a “Product of China” is that still safe for us to get? I’m just getting contradicting messages pertaining to the Fish you didn’t recommend because it is a “product of China”
He probably missed that the cauliflower was made in China. China doesn't have the best regulation of produce. I'm from Hong Kong, so I guess am technically Chinese, and my family and I avoid all produce from China. It's around the same price to buy a fresh head of cauliflower and rice it yourself.
I do not recommend the cauliflower. I bought 3 bags a few months ago and all of them contained what appeared to be wood chips mixed in. It was only then that I checked the back of the package and saw it was a product of China. As we know, China is infamous for exporting fake foods and medications.
i rarely go to dollar tree but i wanted some cheap healthy snacks and i picked up the rice cakes and seaweed snacks. i came back today and got more of the same. i was really happy about the price.
I enjoy watching your videos. Especially your haul videos. Your recipes have helped with my difficult diet as well. Much love for The FlavCity Family. Thank you ❤️
Idk if you and Thomas agreed to this but you uploaded the same content at exactly the same time!! So cool!! Thanks for helping everyone do Keto on a budget
I questioned your integrity having Thrive as a sponsor bc they were selling harmful products that you said not to buy. However, I see they are not sponsoring this video. If you did indeed drop them.... 1. Good job!! Most youtubers would take the money and shelf their integrity. 2. I will refer your channel to as many people as I can. You have good, educational content...but to ALSO do so with integrity is a HUGE bonus.
Made my list! Going this afternoon. Thanks so much. P.S. did Aldi yesterday and they had the Muir Glen fire roasted tomatoes, makes the best chili relleno sauce!
Yes! More DT hauls, pls! Sometimes I think the price is too good to be true - especially if the food items are not from the U.S... I want a good deal but it’s gotta be safe and healthy too. Thank you! 😊🙏🏼❤️
I get their riced cauliflower all the time. I bulk up my rice casseroles with it and stuffed bell peppers also add it to my soups.. it is really good. Also got pacific soy milk there. I love rice cakes. They are really good and small to so I can make 2.
Great Video Bobby!!! Eating Healthy on a Budget, I Love It!!! My guilty pleasure(s) as a child were Junior Mints; Skittles, Starburst, Smarties, Pixie Stix, Gushers, Fruit by the Foot, and those Candy Cigarettes that came in the box with a Popeye Comic on the back, Those were really good!!!
WOW..your dolla tree has Jacks beef jerky and that other brand as well...awesome...wish mine did. Beef jerky can be so expensive...gotta love it for $!
Whoppers!! Thank you SO much. Perfect timing, I am planning on going to Dollar Tree today. I didnt realize that there were any Bobby Approved products there at all.
Ok, one more question. Even if some things are not on the dirty dozen, when they spray the product it drains into the soil and then is taken up by the plants when it rains right? So it systemically gets into the plant??? Just asking.
I love dollar tree although here in Ontario Canada everything is $1.25 still good deal. We don't have fridge or freezer products in ours but would be awesome. The himalayan salt here is vacuum sealed with a spout we get couple at a time. For a pound your absolutely right you can't go wrong. Thanks for sharing definitely will check out some of your stuff I haven't thought of and see if we have here. Have a fantastic day 🌈
Actually everything that you do videos on help me. Just when I want to ask you about foods/items, you post/video it. 👍. Now I tell people to check out your channel ( because its usually in a store and we get talking) as I’m often helping people with wise choices. Hard to remember everything though, that’s when I recommend following you. Like today, I would’ve never thought to pick up some of those gadgets that you pointed out in the cookware section (if you wanna call it that at a dollar tree) LOL . actually have bought a couple of spatulas because they’re silicone for my ceramic pans. Btw I will replace ceramic more often because I prefer them over soaking a stainless steel pot for days. 😜 ty fav city fam.
Your Dollar Tree is so big, I wish my Dollar Tree was this big. My favorite candy bar as a kid was either Milky Way or Three Musketeers. I was only allow 1 candy anything a week and only if I had completed my chores. So I would try to pick the largest bars and ration it for the whole week.
As a teen: Mallo Cups.... OMG....and they came with “coupons” or “points” you could return via mail....and get a coupon for a FREE mallow cup. (Just what I needed....hahaha!)
Omg that's the dollar tree I always go to my house!!!! I've always wanted to bump into you! But I never go by the food aisle because I figured nothing will be good being a $1, from this video I'll check it out now!!!!!
I have to admit I get the Kettle Chips b/c of the price. But I'm going to be on the lookout for the products you have recommended next time I go. Dollar Tree is getting better and better all the time!
Great job Bobby 👏 always making such educational videos for us to learn how we can choose the best products. And BTW that was so close with that security guy! He didn't realize you were filming 😉
