👍 Glad you shared the tip of rubbing your hands on stainless spoon to remove garlic odor. It really works. I learned this about 40 years ago from my aunt. 👍
I just happened to buy a stainless steel gadget that you wash your hands with and it does the same thing.... but it's in the bottom of sink..... the garlic & onion smell doesn't bother me that much, I love the smell & I love the taste....but nice to have to use if you were going out after cutting a bunch of either.....lol
I love how you share your wonderful kitchen tips and hacks! You give us incredible ideas for making time in the kitchen easier and even fun! I really enjoyed your reviews of the kitchen products that make our time in the kitchen more productive! You always give us great recipes and show us how to use items we already have in the kitchen! Thanks for sharing another amazing video!👍
I was so surprised at your simple solutions. Sometimes you can't see the forest for the trees and you sure helped this. Thanks. Hope you keep making more helpful videos like these. ☺
I love your videos, both your ideas and your presentation. Your product ideas are great, too. And the fact that you support Ukraine completes your total awesomeness! 🏆 💙🇺🇦💛 🇺🇸 🤝🏻🇺🇦 💪🏻🇺🇦💪🏻
Holy Canoli's where do you get these excellent ideas! You're my new favorite channel. Definitely the most useful! It's no wonder that you have such a large following.
I found a way to remove paper stuck to jars, etc....I save old cooking oil (a small jar) and just rub it all over the label and let it soak all nite & it usually will slip right off,,,, sometimes it might take a little more oil to finish getting it off, but easy enough tho .... think I'd be afraid to put a glass jar in microwave .....so this works for me..... you know the food makers that make mayonnaise, etc are not going to make sure it's microwave proof for mayo or mustard....!!! I try to always buy things in jars instead of in plastic..... I know some companies sell plastic products like QVC &HSN....but I still don't even put them in microwave , they say do not use plastic to heat up food & I always use a dish.....microwaves have a bad name anyways.....and I don't use mine a lot ....rarely....I don't mind using the oven.....lol
You don't have to freeze the tomatoes before boiling them. Just dip them in boiling water is "blanching". We remove the tomato skins this way for canning tomatoes.
@@TheOutlier-c6o A couple of things. Traditionally, chefs removed them to simply avoid the peel due to texture. Today, with the proliferation of pesticides, some may remove them out of precaution. On the other side, much of a fruit's nutrition is in the peel, so removing itt probably lowers the vitamins. We never peeled tomatoes in my home growing up, and no one got cancer, so there's that.
ALEX, WE ALL LOVE THE INFO YOU PROVIDE TO HELP US IN THE KITCHEN! SUCH WONDERFUL TIPS AND TRICKS TO MAKE IT EASIER ON THE CHIEF IN OUR VERY OWN KITCHEN! YOU ROCK AND WE THANK YOU SO MUCH! YOU MAKE IT SO INTERESTING AND FUN TO WATCH!
Aloha, Love the frozen tomatoes skin peeler and the resulting snack, fried leek method, the can lid finger guard, the mustard on the trash lid, the micro label remover, the watermelon slices, the new shaker egg peeler method, the egg potato sauce….. the new Amazon segment is a real winner! The salt in the rinse water is a real must, here in Hawai’i we have rat lungworm disease and must wash all our fruits and vegetables or freeze or cook them all as this is a very serious disease. If you want to eat any fresh fruits or vegetables if you soak them in salt water it kills the slug (the disease carrier) and their eggs which are easily missed when just rinsing. Already knew about the salt water rinse trick and the stainless steel spoon to remove the garlic or onion smell from your hands. All in all - Great video! Loved the come hither look you had! Till next time, Aloha! ❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏
Glad I found this site;I love it! I like how the person who is demonstrating the tips is not the one doing the talking, the music is not to loud too. Loud music is so distracting in other videos.
Was just scrolling & came upon this video. I didn’t know what to expect, but this was great. Everything he did was really useful & easy to do. I gave it a thumbs up, subscribed & saved. Alex thank you so very much for sharing, i really appreciate it.
i use to not like this guy.....but here lately i have started liking his videos.....he gives really good kitchen tips and time savers.....thank you sir......
@@jays2573 The only reason I can fathom for not liking him is his accent-but only if you think it’s Russian. It may be, but I know he supports Ukraine, so he’s awesome IMHO.
Does he even talk? guess I need to pay more attention..... no matter what language a person speaks, it can be written in English on bottom of screen.....I see it all the time .....
Yes on the Amazon finds as a portion. However, keep your tips as the basis of the video! They are the highlight and most helpful! I totally enjoy your videos.
Keep the Amazon finds, but don’t let them takeover the show! I love that so many of your fantastic tips don’t require any special equipment, just things you’ve already got around the house! One or two finds per show would be enough (with links).
She got one I was not sure whether she was a Trumper and I knew if she was it would be my treat for a good start of the school year & when the temperature rises above 90* she may allow Brian to place his sweaty TOUPE in it, "NOT"
Alex I loved the Amazon features I feel like I need to purchase all of the items you demonstrated. I always learn so much from you! I'm so happy I found your Channel Alex!! Blessings to you and your family!!
My wife puts her tomatoes in the instant pot on a trivet using 1 cup of water. Set it to 0 and under a minute put the maters in cold water and that's it.
Great new segment of your Amazon finds. Love seeing the products in use before I buy. Seeing a picture or even a video is not as good as watching someone you trust demonstrating the product. I really appreciate you sharing these finds with their tips and tricks. I think Amazon sales will increase. They should pay you an advertising fee. But the best is that we get some useful products we otherwise wouldn't have bought. Thank you. Also, always love all the cool things you share.
Enjoyed the whole video of useful suggestions, including the 'walmart finds' section. The silicon lids would be nice except I don't see how (even though the ad claims they prevent spills) they would prevent tilting spills in frig or drops; it seems they would only be good for keeping fresh, not spill preventer. I assume that's why you didn't demonstrate that claim.
Trash stink, another idea: Rinse all containers before putting in trash. Place vegetative cuttings, tea and coffee grounds, in a sealed plastic bag before putting in trash. (Or put them in a compost pile outside.) 🥀💖
The best thing I ever learned about boiling eggs and making them easy to peel is slightly cracking the rounder end of the egg before boiling. Then do the regular boiling and cooling in ice water and they peel perfectly and easily!!!
