I've been in the medical field for over 15 yrs and you should NEVER reuse needles or do your own medical procedures at home. I feel a little ridiculous having to say don't use pickles to treat skin problems....WTH is wrong with people? 🤢
You can honestly use your own needle like 5 times if you keep them clean and capped. For some ppl on multiple daily medications, they don’t have access to a new needle however many times a day they need so that can be a little unrealistic for some. They even give you tips at needle places on how to keep them clean and sharp and how to reuse them if needed. Of course you need to not do it like 20 times per needle or use other ppl’s or leave them around uncapped, things like that
@@lillymurray8408If you ignore burns they won't blister. Every single thing I've ever tried made it hurt worse, then blister. Even room temperature water.
If her tooth is abscessed, she is going to need antibiotics before she can pull it. I guess she can always slap on a piece of moldy bread to clear up that infection.
Former junkie here: cleaning syringes, even if you’re the only one who has used them, is a deadly idea. Trust me, endocarditis (bacterial infection of the heart lining) is AWFUL. I was given a 60% of losing my arm from it. Trying to get rid of all the bacteria when “cleaning” them is impossible, and you risk getting residual rubbing alcohol/bleach/sanitizer in your veins when you use it in addition to remaining bacteria. Not to mention, those syringes say “single use only” for another reason- at a microscopic level the tip of the needle bends with each use & forms more & more of a hook shaped tip. Reusing them hurts, and over time will shred your veins or tissue. Walgreens & CVS both will now sell people syringes with or without a prescription because so many people were dying from the practice of reusing them. A 10 pack costs around $2.50; even cheaper in bulk on Amazon. My hospital bill after contracting endocarditis was over $60k with insurance. You have no reason to ever do this. EDIT: thank you to all of the people who left kind messages; that was very cool of you to do.
@@sandyn3384 in America, up until 2019, the major of pharmacy chains required a prescription for syringes & if you asked for them without having a script they would call the cops. I experienced this many times. This did vary a bit state to state. For instance, in Indiana, where there was a massive HIV epidemic in 2015 related to sharing needles, the state allowed for some harm reduction programs like needle exchanges. However, in my state of Nebraska, my friends and I ran an underground needle exchange for a number of years and were we to be caught doing this it would have been a felony with pretty serious ramifications. A silver lining of the opioid epidemic has been the growing understanding that subjecting IV users to hepatitis and HIV does not deter use or addiction, and just further exacerbates the problems people are facing.
@@sandyn3384 Prior to these changes, my dealer & I had to orchestrate this whole performance- I would go into the pharmacy, claim my diabetic aunt came into town & forgot her syringes, give the pharmacy her phone number. They’d call her to confirm & if we were lucky they wouldn’t ask for any further proof. I honestly think they knew what was happening & felt that our story had given them enough plausible deniability to provide us with clean equipment without getting in trouble.
Walmart also has them for sale at the same prices and most cities have a needle exchange ect. I am a recovered heroin addict, and have been clean for almost 2 years
Tbh a lot of people don't have a fire extinguisher in their house. Ir maybe that's just the case where I live. But having it around is better and safer than not
@@sugarzblossom8168 We never used to, but did have a fire blanket. Since moving into a home with a fire stove, we’ve bought one for that & one for the kitchen.
I just picture her creepin’ stealing the most random sht from doctor or vet drawers when they leave the room, her family or friend’s bathrooms and cupboards.
Ok when she asked for the dentists tools to take home and Layze pretended she was asking for the chair as well, I lost it. I love his videos. It’s laughter I really need in my life
As a nurse, I've never seen someone come to a physical and ask for a goodie bag lol (Also, if that tooth becomes infected or becomes an abscess it can kill her via heart attack from the bacteria causing it migrating elsewhere.)
Could you explain the tooth thing? How could it kill via heart attack? Also is it normal for the organs in your torso and sometimes chest to hurt on and off during the day? I'm a young adult and this has been normal for me since I was a kid.
@@EliasKayama245 You need to go to the doc love. Its normal to have pains but sometimes it can be a sign of other health issues. If you dont have a normal doc then call your local urgent care and let them know you wanna be looked at but you dont have money. See if they can help. Let them know you are a young person.
@sheilarogge2461 Thank you. I also have anxiety, and so does my mom. My mom said that if it had been going on since middle school, then I was fine and that it was just my anxiety because she said that anxiety didn't always just affect the heart, so I have just been justifying my pain as anxiety since it isn't debilitating and has been happening for so long. I don't believe that I will be able to convince my mom to take me to get checked out because I can't drive yet even though I'm an adult due to some disabilities. I can try, though.
@@EliasKayama245 tell her you would like to get your annual physical exam to establish a baseline with your doctor (basically, so your doctor has a snapshot of what's "normal" for you, so that if you get sick later they can compare to your baseline to see what's different). if you have ACA-compliant health insurance, an annual physical is free of charge, and it will give you the opportunity to discuss your concerns with a doctor who is in a much better position to tell you whether or not it's something you need to worry about. if you have a doctor saying that it's something you should get checked out, your mom may be more likely to listen. anxiety attacks can cause chest pain bad enough that people sometimes confuse it for a heart attack, but if you are regularly feeling like this and it's NOT only during active anxiety attacks, you definitely should talk to a doctor about it. if you have to be a little bit underhanded about it to convince your mom, do what you gotta do.
This! And from my understanding (I know this only because of people saying it and I’ve had my fair share of hospital stays) when a needle is used, the tip is bent. It’s really hard to see, but the needle becomes blunt after use so that’s another reason as to why you should NEVER reuse needles! It can also lead to infections and you can severely hurt yourself! Be careful out there everyone and don’t touch needles!!
@@itscc2004you are correct, the needle is dulled after the first use and there is no way you can sterilize the needles they use today, that’s why they call them disposable. These people are fake I think they just want to be on tv, they spend more doing this stupid crap than if they just did like most people, otherwise they are just nuts!
There literally is ways to sterilize needles, it is still unwise to ever use somebody else’s, but they actually give you tips on how to sterilize your needles if you must reuse your own. Of course you shouldn’t reuse them more than like 3 to 5 times at the absolute most but most healthcare professionals know that some ppl don’t have access to that many new needles if they’re on multiple injections a day.
Of course there is "such a thing as sterilizing when it comes to needles" 🤦♀️ It literally makes no sense to say _"We can sterilize EVERYTHING else except for a needle. Needles are the one thing on the planet which somehow defies our understanding of sterilization."_ See how goofy that sounds? It's dumb to share needles, yes, but lying as a scare tactic is gross.
I’m on HRT (hormone replacement therapy.) and two of the major things I had to know before they would allow me to do my injections at home was: NEVER re-use barrels or tips (syringes and needles. There is actually a program set up that delivers everything free of charge to avoid trans people from double usage where I live and it’s been extremely helpful since I don’t make a lot of money.) and where I’m safe to inject not only for the best absorption but also because in some places if I injected my testosterone in even the slightest millimeter off I could hit something I would shouldn’t be hitting with a needle.
her diabetic friends probably told her about the 4 times rule. my mom has diabetes and will use the same sharp 3-4 times before throwing it out. but like.. it’s HER needle she’s the only one that’s used it and that’s very different lmao my mom would never use a needle someone else had used thankfully 😂
I’ve been diabetic for 45 years and I reuse mine about the same as your mom. I have never seen a diabetic who uses alcohol swabs or seen one change their finger pricker very often, either. My husband just got diagnosed Type 2 and the thought of using the same finger poker as him makes me ill, even though we’ve been married 35 years and have 14 grandkids 😂😂
@@ReesieandLeeI’m type 1 and I’m 21, I use the same pricker multiple times lmfaoo honestly just cause when I’m out or busy I’m too lazy to take the time to change it 😂

Dang right it is deadly, reusing the same needle could cause so many problems and most of them, you can't get them cured, actually, I've seen this RU-vid short where this young woman is disabled and when she went to her doctor, the doctor is sooo lazy that he didn't even get a new needle, he used the same needle and this woman's hand is so bent she can't use it anymore.
@@jennawebb4225 oh yeah and she's also in a wheelchair because of how bad the blood infection got she literally can't walk anymore and it's only been what like 4 years?
I’ve bought dry ice at Halloween for the kids scary stories. I taught Kindergarten for 35+ years, so I bought it that often. You put warm water on it and it’s Smokey.
Let this sink in: The only way she would know they won’t give you the bloody hospital gowns is because she has asked for one before & been told no. Dear god I hope the “bodily fluid” is just blood and nothing else.
Skin tags are a sign of type 2 Diabetes. She should defo invest in her health and get herself checked out I'm actually concerned. Peoplecan die from that if left un checked... If she hasn't I'm just assuming here Also yay ! You are so awesome I live for your energy brah!

Yes, her husband made a medical grade suction machine from a discarded vacuum cleaner. They found an old rusty barber tool that looked like the dental tool at a garage sale and cleaned it up. Then it was go time and the tooth was pulled.
So wait...she said they do all of these money saving things to save on not going to the hospital but then she talks about how she accumulated all of her medical supplies from Dr's offices and hospitals WTH So which is it lol 😆 🤔
Layze, your videos make me happy , so happy ❤ you're legit getting me through hard times and I'm so glad you exist. I hope you never stop making videos, and never stop being you. ❤
Well I am a medical professional (almost) and I must shout this out PLEASE DO NOT EVER REUSE A NEEDLE!!. Endocarditis is nasty and it really can kill you. Stay safe.
to be fair, most people would rather just drag themselves home than go to the hospital after an accident. I just walked myself home after I got into a car crash because there was no fucking way I was gonna pay for that ambulance ride.
Did I mention...they gotta be high. Cause this stuff is serious stuff. You can do alot at home. Superglue does work for cuts, without causing serious damage, unless you use too much, then you get a burn on top of the cut. Wound stuff ...vinegar is an ok helper but 10%bleach is really what you want. It keeps the good healing bacteria. And anything deeper than surface is go to dr time. Teeth...go to Dr. Abcess in gum you can poke or slice to drain but you still need antibiotics. Infrctions...That shit can travel to your hear, your brain, you legs. I know someone who lost their life to an abcessed tooth. Just one bad tooth.
I'm a diabetic and I use insulin pens but one time I ran out and couldn't get more due to insurance issues, but my mom is also diabetic and had a few extra needles and insulin I could use. I had to use one needle per day (4/5 shots each because I eat small meals during the day) and that shit started to irritate my skin by shot 3! I started getting red dots on my stomach. The fact she reuses them that many times and over a longer period (like not all in a day) is INSANE. My jaw literally dropped. 👁👄👁
So, a science nerd here ☝🤓 I am so SHOCKED that she dosen't have SEVERE frost bite from that dry ice touching her bare skin. NEVER HANDLE DRY ICE WITH YOUR BARE HANDS! Dry ice is extremely cold, -107F (-79C) and can cause frostbite within seconds of direct contact. The fact that she's putting it directly on her skin to 'treat skin tags and moles' is highly dangerous. (Ignore spelling errors. I said I was a science nerd, not an english nerd.😤)
When I order frozen rats for my snake, the package is shipped with dry ice to keep the rats frozen during shipping. My kiddos take the dry ice outside and watch it melt. It's cool looking.
I'm glad you use frozen. I'm a rat foster parent and so many come from live rats that the snakes didn't want to eat. Plus, live rats are dangerous for the snake too.
I knew the first one was them making dry ice because I was going to make some since everyone bought all the dry ice, I needed it to make my pumpkin smokey, but sadly I didn't get to do that because I couldn't find the right fire extinguisher either, and I didn't even have a pumpkin, they were all gone, I had to carve a watermelon
A fire extinguisher is about $40-50. And they made an ounce of dried ice? You can buy a pound of it for much cheaper than an extinguisher…and save that for an actual fire
There's frugal, miserly, and then this which is just straight up bat shit crazy. A *reused* jar of pickle "band aids" not even marked as such would make cook outs at their place a Fear Factor level event.
