The door mat came out great! I saw some dinotrux!! My kids love them and just got the little figures for there birthday. We have an ikea kivik couch. I can take the covers off to wash them and it’s held up for about 8 years with 2 kids and 2 dogs.
Watched this a few times now while cleaning, minus some distractions from my two boys lol Always love what you share, keeps me on the motivation train😆🧡

Your home is coming along..honestly can't wait for it to be done.. We have leather furniture and 2 dogs, all I do is vaccum and wipe them down w/leather cleaner as Molly (Boston Terrier) Is on the furniture often. No scratches or tears as of yet and the furniture is about a year old. I did enjoyed this video....great motivation. Stay safe and healthy 🙏
I started watching cleaning videos over this past year. I never knew about cleaning dishwasher filters until this year. I was afraid to open mine since we have lived in our house for 10yrs as of Aug. But I basically have always washed my dishes before I load them in the dishwasher. I was surprised...I had NO debris or food stuff in my filter. It just had some grime. Yay!
Your couch is just fine Hun I have 4 cat's and they are little sods when it comes to my sofa they love to claw it lol I have part Bengal cat's and they are on the go 24 7 lolol I'm also so excited for all the new stuff you are putting in your beautiful new home 🏡 Annmarie UK xx

I think the brand “best” is good quality and price. That’s what our sectional is. We have 4 kids and 2 dogs and we have had our couch 5 yrs and it looks brand new.
I really enjoyed the video! I'd like say that we don't rinse our dishes before they go in the dishwasher but we put left over food/scaps in the trash with a fork or spoon so that they the dishes are clear of little pieces. I think if you rinse dishes before you put them in the dish washer, you might as well skip the dish washer all together and clean your dishes in the sink. It doesn't seem like you would be saving any time with all the loading and unloading in addition to the rinsing. Just a thought...
I think your couch is fine girl!! The reason I say that is because you will soon have two little kids and you have animals. I don’t really think any furniture really holds up to all that. Lol Even our couches are brand new and already showing signs of being used. You may not have one out there but we got our old sectional oversized at America’s furniture warehouse! Loved it had it for three years and even lived on it with and new born. Lol

Hi Catherine. Great content. For a quality couch I suggest the Flexsteel Brand. High Quailty. Without the cats stopping their scratching though not sure what would truly hold up. Scotchguard is probably going to be your friend for everything else. Just be sure to be OCD about the timing of redoing it. It's been a long time since I've had to use it so follow the directions on the product. And your sneak peek. YUP, totally know that scenario. BLEH.
@@CatherineElaine cats can be quite finicky about their paws being messed with for sure. Basically you have to start as a kitten for them to truly trust the process. I miss my cats for sure. Jordan’s has good couches Don’t get anything with loose back cushions - they mush quick and tend to look old and messy quickly The cats thou - scratchy scratch is a big issue Love the bump !! Xo
Ive had that same conversation with Aleah Martins, why wash the dishes before putting them in the dishwasher? Isnt that why you got a dishwasher in the first place??🤔🤔🤔 lmao rinsing i can understand but the whole wash before the wash does not make sense to me lmao
In theory yes I agree, but my dishwasher is trash so I sometimes have to wash them before putting in the dishwasher 😂. I live in an apartment And the dishwasher is old.
Someone once told me it is a dishwasher, not a power washer, so rinse beforehand. I've always rinsed them. 😁 And my kids are older and one is moved out, so don't run my dishwasher everyday and I don't want the gunk to harden on it.
Next time you make a doormat, take a hair dryer to the stencil once it’s on your mat and the transfer tape is off. If you “shrink wrap” the stencil just a bit, it will help it stick to those mats.

My recommendation for a couch would be leather because that can be cleaned and will last. It will hold its value… cloth with kids just isn’t ever going to work. Lol 😂
Hey there Pumpkin 😉 Love watching your channel. Can you please, please tell me how you keep your house from smelling like a cat box? We just moved into a nicer house and were renting, so I have to keep whatever I do renter friendly, but we have two cats and I feel like it doesn’t matter how clean I keep the box, it still smells. My husband and I are going crazy. We feel like we can’t have friends over without feeling embarrassed.
@@CatherineElaine we recently got a new kitty, and so now we have a total of 3 cats. Ever since we brought the new one home they have been attacking the couch like crazy. We just ordered them off Amazon, the vet says they work good so only time will tell lol
I like the couches where the back cushions are attached. We have had our leather couch for 15 years still looks great. But honestly I would not be a fan of the cat using it as a scratching pole
