Today is an ULTIMATE CLEAN WITH ME full of extreme cleaning motivation, organizing and decluttering. Maybe take a picture of the contents of each gray container - and put the picture on the outside of the bin, so she will know where things are to play and clean up 😀 looks great!!

was thinking the same thing, much easier for little people who don’t quite read yet. That is a trick often used in pre-schools, and K-classrooms.

I find that labeling bins or shelves with pictures of her actual toys really helps children visualize where to put them back when it's time to clean up. I love how the room turned out! ☺️

I would recommend using clear bins for the little figurines that way she can clearly see what she wants to play with otherwise she will dump out all the bags to get to what she wants.

Exactly!! It never ends! That's why it isn't even worth doing. Never seriously organize until the kids are 18 years old and finally move out and leave! Then you can go crazy and organize!

Yeah I noticed I did this a few years ago with my son. We got rid of half of his stuff, clean up time took him under 10. Any time it took him longer we knew the toy amount was too much. Now he is 12 and only has legos and hot wheels. It blows my mind how many toys kids have now days.

I love it! So sweet. I feel like kids are always more interested in the same old toys when things are switched around and different. I remember changing things up and moving furniture around in my room as a kid and it was always more fun to play! 💜

Looks great!!! I love it! For stuffed animals, I bought my son a bean bag cover made for putting stuffed animals in. I bought his from Creative QT Stuffed Animal Storage and they have small and large. I bought the large and it has probably 60 stuffed animals inside it. He wanted a bean bag anyways and it’s pleasing to the eye. Just an idea, that way you could use the storage in the couch for blankets and pillows.

Looks so fab! Love Emerson’s sweet reaction. I was going to suggest you label all the boxes, but I see you did that 👍🏼 Another idea you can do to help kids learn to pack away their own toys is to print out and laminate pictures and put it on the boxes as a label (eg. A picture of a baby doll on the baby dolls box)

Hey mama. Just be careful with the plastic bag for the figurines. My 2 yr old emptied out a plastic ziplock I was using to organize toys and put it over her head while I was in the bathroom. I felt horrible. She’s ok thank God but I just wanted to pass that on. Thx for this video! I am redoing my girls toys this week!

It looks so cute and everything is so organized! I also have that same cube storage shelf for my bedroom but I found that I had a lot of empty space in most of my bins. I got an "H Shelf" off of amazon (3 pack) to slide into each cube to give it 2 smaller shelves per cube and just used cute smaller baskets i got at Walmart

Technically carpets are different than rugs. Carpets cover the entire floor, and are usually built into the house, while rugs are moveable and usually only cover a specfic area on the floor. For example, Allie had a gray carpet in her basement, and she put a rug over it. People mainly do this to add color because carpets are usually gray, white or cream (or any plain solid color), and rugs can be any color or pattern.
