U have done a awesome job hun! I wanted to let u know that the 1 of the wall units is covering ur return air vent & is the culprit for the dust! A design solution is to cut the center out of the bottom doors & put some metal mesh & paint the mesh white for a country look or black for a more modern country chic vibe!

I replaced my swifter with a steamer and it is a GAME CHANGER! And it’s way less wasteful, since you just throw the steamer towels in the wash! The steamer also just picks up dirt better and gets in the grout too! You can use it on your wood floors too. I got mine for like $50 off of Amazon.

I gave up buying the swiffer pads! I'm in NJ & can't find them anywhere. Ppl panic buyed alot of cleaning supplies 🙄 Dollar tree has the pad for the swiffer... I just rubber band it onto my swiffer. & use that, then throw it in the wash..

Hi Kayla. I love your channel, your enthusiasm, your ideas and your style. When I was younger I possessed that same zeal and loved to decorate. A big shout out to Marcus as well. He is very handy, helpful and patient. I speak a multitude of blessings to you both. Here is a suggestion from a old lady. I would create a board for the cards you recive from your fans at least from your first year. It would be an awesome keepsake and a treasure to share with your kids to show how much love you received from people you don't even know, especially during a pandemic. I can’t say I have a “favorite” room to clean, but when I start with the kitchen or bathrooms, it just gets me in the mood to keep going to other areas of the home. I’m going to sure check out the vacuum, I need it for my laminate flooring! No dish washer, I rather wash by hand. Even when I had one @ my last place I barely used it. Enjoy watching the video! Same when I had one I used it to just dry my dishes lol. My kids call the dishwasher a dish dryer lol. When someone says a dishwasher they say you mean the dish dryer I laugh.

Hi Kayla, I ,ve painted several pieces of furniture at different times and learn from experience that no matter what type of paint you use,be it brush paint or spray if you put a clear polyurethane coating on top it will prevent scratches and keep your color and also give it a luxury shine👍🏼🌹

It’s in my dining room and when I have big parties and people get to dancing in the dining room it is always so funny to see people hover around the mirror, checking out their dance moves, haha. I grew up without a dishwasher until high school but I love cleaning and find it as a source of immediately gratification! Then as a young adult I always fell in love and rented old apartments that didn’t have dishwashers so when I got married and we moved into a house with a dishwasher I may or may not have cried a little 😂 now I do both. Honestly I just feel like I’m faster than the dishwasher so I still do a lot by hand

Everything looks nice. You might want to seal the sink cutout of the countertop with some polyurethane so that it won't discolor so fast from the sink usage.

Absolutely love the kitchen! Can I recommend ditching the swiffer and getting a steam mop! Only requires water and the clean lasts much longer! (Bissell is my fav)

Put a couple of coats of high gloss polyurethane on the mantel, coffee table and dinet set. It protects and lets light bounce off the surface.

Lol!!!! You legit have the same glasses as I do! My Mom kept that style drinking glasses from back in the day, I went to WalMart and they matched up the old ones my mom had. They also sell them separately, so I just got 3, since they all broke and I only had 3 originals left.

Love this! So motivating! Since you have so many hard floors I would highly recommend the O Cedar spin mop! It does such a good job at cleaning the floors!
