@@jasonsimms8251because destroyed the foreststs so rapidly future generations will have to read about it in textbooks and plantations grown trees only allow for a few harvests. Our current forestry practices are not sustainable.
@@UncleTony2 Nous ceux qui ne sont pas égoïstes , non seulement ils coupent de magnifiques arbres, mais ils ne replantent pas,et des jeunes arbres mettent très très longtemps avant d'être un arbre robuste et grand. humans are only dangerous to themselves. they have no use for the universe.just one test among many. the chance was given to them, they seized it trying to destroy the planet. in the end, there is not much hope with organics. with 100 times more abilities than a human, they destroy a solar system. first reduce and if necessary destroy all humans as has been done with other civilizations
That tree could have been 2000 or 3000 years old. We are here for so short of time , they have been for so long. Does not seem fair! I'm no tree hugger, but I do consider their value to the earth.
I too do not like to see those old growth trees cut down, but if and only if it is proper forest management would I approve. 2000+ old trees are a national treasure. 25 to 200 year old trees can be replaced by new plantings. And are renewable source for homes or paper bags.
All of you asking if they have used wood products, are like children calling out "Nah Nah!" This type of tree is not used to make those products, they are solely sold for vanity project use. Enjoy life as a troll.
The saddest part of this is those trees have stood there on this earth for hundreds of years quietly and invisibly living their lives and then along comes a human being with a chain saw and the life is snuffed out in minutes as though it never existed. And for what? Toilet paper.
Just think of how many of these big dudes hit the ground during the great toilet paper shortage epidemic. Research suggests 91% of people use more toilet paper than they need to per wipe. 74% use 10 squares or more per wipe only using one side. True shit.
@@arunc4248 Points is, we need resources , and if things are done sustainably, there is no problem with cutting them down. It all about balance , humans struggle with that , the tree huggers want modern society but with out cutting down trees, the companies cut down trees for profit and forgets sustainability. Not of the two sides are in the right ... we need to cut down trees , but we need to do it sustainably.
It takes hundreds of years to grow such big trees, and people feel pleasure in felling them. Sad😭 Please make videos which can motivate people to plant trees and take pride in caring them.
Yeah it's funny how long it would take for something like that to grow and this guy cuts it down in 10 mins. Absolutely hilarious.. this is why your a trucker 😅

I agree with everyone saying that this shouldn’t have happened, but my first thought was “yeah, the size of the tree in the thumbnail was way bigger than the actual tree in the video.” I really hate when people use fake thumbnails just to attract more views.
Вот зачем такие огромные деревья Пусть выросли что людям не хватает когда Что такое дерево следующие вырастет никогда Да ужас просто мне очень жаль очень просто кошмар нужно остановить резать такие огромные деревья
I wanna see the first dude with a bat hitting some baseballs. That is some serious hand-eye coordination - hitting individual wedges stacked together at full speed. 👍
@My Dixie Wrecked ash bats are rare today - because of the ash borer. Maple has dominated the scene for the last 20 years. But more players are now switching to birch. They say it seems to have the durability and flexibility of ash, but the hardness and solidity of maple. I haven't had a chance to personally hit with birch, but would be eager to if I am able to purchase a birch bat at some point. Would also like to try hickory that's been kiln dried with modern kilning processes (but that will never happen, so... I'll keep dreaming).
@My Dixie Wrecked they did. My set of clubs are old persimmon woods 😎. I love them. I'm guessing persimmon is most likely too heavy to used for a bat, but I can't say for sure. I did some research about 15yrs ago on different woods, looking for an alternative to maple that would be more similar to ash. Birch seemed like a good alternative, but there was something that was missing. I was also looking at some exotic woods, but I don't recall them either at the moment. Persimmon is not one I recall coming across, but it is definitely worth a thought.
@My Dixie Wrecked lol that was a long time ago. Beechwood does ring a bell. Sycamore does not. But I believe beechwood was one of the ones that kept popping up as another contender.
Did you see the bark falling off the tree the first tree, this doesn't happen on a healthy tree, it is either dying or dead. I work for a local council in the UK, we fell dead and dangerous trees but we plant far more than we fell. People who do not understand still moan at us when we are felling. The vast majority of those who moan don't go out planting new trees themselves.
I know we need wood but still something a bit sad about ending a tree so big and magnificent and old. I get it we need the resource. Still a bit sad somehow.

Обожаю скулёж соотечественников под подобными видео. У них в стране каждый год уничтожают (пилят и продают) десятки, а может и сотни тысяч гектаров леса, но у них душа болит за спиленный где-то в Африке гнилой баобаб... 🙂
Dangerous work. The old time loggers of the west coast who felled giant redwoods and Doug firs were real studs. There were no chainsaws, just crosscut and axes with wedges.
