That was inspiring! I actually love seeing you rearrange things over and over. I don't think you usually see that in RU-vid videos, but it's a big reason why I *love* these transformations. It gives me so much greater confidence knowing that it's not going to be perfect the first time, and that that's OK, and it's easy to adjust! It's amazing to actually be able to see the process of the transformation!
That's exactly what I was thinking. I get overwhelmed trying to make it perfect the first time, or feeling like I'm wasting time arranging and rearranging. This shows me that... It's okay. It's long lasting. It's worth the effort if that's the result I want.
I'm watching this video over and over in order to really absorb your words. Also, I love the music choice. Most of the time I mute videos because of the music but your music and words are so enjoyable together.
I must say I love your channel and I’m not trying to tell anyone what to do, just sharing in case it helps others save money and for the planet. So yea the amount of paper towels and t.p. gave me so much anxiety lol. Maybe it won’t work for every family but I have the reusable paper towels and Swedish dish cloths and I just keep an emergency roll of paper towel in case something really gross happens bc I have a doggo. I also have a bidet so I use way less t.p. than before. 48 rolls from the sustainable company who gives a crap will last me a year. 🌱💚
I absolutely love all of your suggestions! It is really important for people to get their items decluttered and organized so they can see what they have! I agree that there is a lot of inventory taking up valuable space and I love the ideas you shared on how we can use less! Wow. You totally get this and you're really good at it! I ordered two of the books you mentioned from the library - Boundaries and Essentialism. They sound inspirational. I was happy to hear you say not to worry about what happens to the stuff. Some people take things here and there so thoughtfully, but I just can't deal with that. And I don't want to deal with selling anything. So it all goes to my favorite thrift shop serving a local residential treatment center for traumatized teens. So far, they have taken everything. If not, it goes into a dumpster. I just don't care what happens to the stuff and can't deal with any guilt or anxiety about determining its fate! Your channel is great and I'm sure you will grow an audience by the hundreds of thousands. I wonder if you have considered becoming a professional organizer?

It is important to realize that sometimes we don’t know how much we have until we decide to get rid of the excess to know what we have! Thanks Emmie!! It’s definitely important to know what you own so that you know what you need. This family did great letting go of clutter. Once you feel the benefits of less, you want to own less. I live in a small apartment and with my kiddos and I definitely have found I only want to manage a small amount. This was a fun transformation for me! Do you really need that much toilet, kitchen, and tissue paper?? Probably you are better off using washable clothes that 1: pollute less, 2 cost less money

I have a coworker I’m helping declutter. Afterwards we go to the metaphysical store and look at gemstones and she’ll buy incense, sage or Palo Santo. This way the items she brings in will make the house smell good, she’ll enjoy them, but also they will not leave any clutter or waste behind. 🌱🧹🧼✌🏼
