guessing you're using drone hacks to get rid of the height restrictions, but just wondering if you've ever played around with the parameter editing, everytime I fly to the top of a mountain, say over 1000m up, I will get to fly about for a bit then it will kick me out of manual mode into critical low battery and force a landing, then I have to slowly limp my way home as the drone constantly descends slowly, where as if I could just stay in manual mode I could dive and be back to earth in 5 seconds using no battery- Ideally there would be some way to disable the automatic landing, if that means it falls out the sky at 0% so be it
there is a possibility in the dronehacks program, something with auto_landing_lowbatterie. this function must be deactivated. I think there is more info on the dronehacks site.
great flying, jawdropping spot. the dji fpv drone? bit heavy for such big dives? its worth wasting a pack just to slowly explore what the wind is doing around those peaks and gaps, 3mph on the ground can be 30mph gusts up there.
The summit Gonzen (with the cross) is at 1830 m ASL and you don't dive down to the place Sargans which is at 480 m ASL. How do you calculate the "2000 m altitude"?
He's not over a city, also he's diving a mountain slope, there is never going to be any aircraft there. The DJI FPV also warns you if an aircraft is nearby. He's not doing any harm at all.
@@alanware6492 No, sure, he is not. Check it out : ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-PoM8c1O3rXE.html I know the DJI FPV quite well. I know the legislation as well. And I know that kind of wild behavior is very fun for the lone pilot but stressfull and dangerous for the citizens below. The worst is that by doing so he discredites the whole FPV community. If you don't want the legislation to evolve in a more sh*tty way (I don't), please don't fly over cities and people. It's selfish, immature and dangerous. Period.
So using the drone hacks can you set the return to home height past the 500 m limit? I love my fpv for how I can trust it to come home like a Mavic if I lose signal. But if its just going to descend down to 500 m I'll stick with my betaflight quads.
@@alanware6492 Clearly not watched the whole video at per 5:26 where he's rather low over the city, nothing with being a Karen just a guy who doesn't want fpv to get even more restricted....
