I agreed to watch my brothers pets while he was away for Christmas and his damn cat kept tearing ass up and down my hallway for no reason every day at 3 am. I wanted to murder him by the third day after I woke up to a barf ball of hair right at the side of my bed. The second I woke up rolled over and got out of bed my first experience for the day was stepping on an orange cat barf hair ball mixture. I seriously wanted to shoot his cat by the third day. I don't know how you people live with these vile things in your house without going full on psychopathic animal murderer.
I am a retired metal model-maker. I retired in Feb. 2001. I cannot believe how advanced the cnc machines are today. I purchased our first cnc HURCO mill for our shop a few years earlier. It is nothing like what is available today. amazing stuff compared to the way we did it before. Wow!
We have a 1yr old hurcoand so far many problems. Machine doesnt like to interact with sub programs and no MDI .. not a big fan and the owner of Hurco sits on our board of directors and we wont buy another , we also just received a okuma B750 5-axis ,dual chuck ..assembling it now over 4weeks , cant wait to get my hands on that thing though.
It takes only a few seconds to generate the program from the CAD program. But it might have taken hours to make the 3D model, and set up the machine and the tools in the CAD program.
@@MKxpl true. But my point is that there is no real coding going on here. Just telling a computer what you want, and then it spits out a hundred thousand lines in a minute or so. I have hand coded programs the size 12-15kb manually in notepad, which does take quite some time. I have also tried dialog programming which is a lot easyer, but I never tried CAM with a postprocessor.
Marinko Mićanović I ja sam već 25 godina u toj branši. Donekle znam i ja o čemu pričam. Ali nećemo d se raspravljamo, jel tako. Impresivno je u svakom slučaju gledati moderne mašine šta sve mogu. Pozdrav od mene.
@@ericberg4397 Yeah, Programs for what? 30 min . max? Really? Some parts I made needed 15 pages of prints and used hundreds of tools. 30 minutes max? 150 k a year? OK Mr. 30 minute max. programmer. Now I'm impressed. It would take you 30 minutes to turn all the prints right side up.

They fubar many part until they get all the tricks and slowly decrease that time to 4 hrs, then 2, then 1... I'm not production parts, so I care more about not breaking a tool and having a very nice part, ONE, when I come in the morning. I only go to prints to look over tight tolerances. and from my experience some of the engineers making those callouts are idiots asking for things that can't be made unless you control the temperature in the room to less than 1 degree . When your done pushing that green button for someone and ready to learn, let me know.
It's a demo piece. Getting a CNC Lathe to make a demo piece is a bit expensive and kinda useless since you don't make a demo piece with the machine you wanna show off then.
@@nelsar1 No. Parts is parts. It's not any harder to machine nickel, or Ti, or 316 stainless or plastic or teflon. It's just different tricks. I have machined aluminum parts @ $50,000 per part. I bet there are guys on here who have doubled that. Apprentice work is not according to what material you are machining.
Lathe 5-axis mchine is more convenient. Efficient processing density requires higher products. More informatiin please consult us ! www.fanuc-controller.com. We will match the cnc controller parts with the used and new condtion for your used and new machine with best price and technology service.
they arent fast! wtf! they are fast in movement but in working time are sloooow CNCs can take away 0.01mm at time but is 1 only think for that for not move the piece with rough work thats all! you all understand? XD kids plus the soccer ball in milling machine is bullshit XD lathe with SS no eh? ahaha
