Some folks will complained that you ruined this piece by painting it. As you stated in your video, it did look very much outdated and I believe you definitely upgraded this piece to fit the style of todays world. Amazing job! Who cares if you have to paint. That’s what could make piece sell ! I respect other opinions but if I buy a piece of furniture I’ll determine the vision or work to see my clients vision to bring it to life. My husband and I have been dealing with the exact same cold that wouldn't quit! Ours started before Christmas, we got better, except for a constant runny nose, then it came back around January 12, and it's the 31st, and I'm doing fine, but my husband keeps having a cough! Love the color of the dresser, so far.

Wow, it's much nicer to paint with a paint gun. I have to redo a piece of furniture which belonged to my parents but which is covered with a thick layer of varnish. A big sandblast to do. Bonne Journée!

Which wood filler would you recommend? I have mixed the sawdust with wood glue and had great coverage. I stained the piece.

I had brass pieces I needed to clean, no brass cleaner, it said use lemon, didn’t have it, but I did have lemon ice tea mix, boiled the pieces in the ice tea, they came out amazing!!! Weird but true!!! Lol

This is such a great video for "how to" and this project was gorgeous. My question is about your soda blaster and the air compressor you linked in the comments. I have a soda blaster and plan to buy the tent you shared. But I've seen many instructions for this soda blaster saying you should have at least a 60-pound compressor with a minimum 90 psi. I'm just asking to confirm your 10-pound air compressor worked with that blaster. I'd be so happy not to have to buy or rent a huge compressor. Thanks!

Thank you so much. I’m glad it was helpful for you. As far as the compressor I use, it’s a 10 gallon running 5.5 CFM at 90 psi and it work great. I use soda blast from harbor freight and it’s the cheapest I’ve found. You don’t need a huge compressor to use it.

Just came here from another one of your videos. This style is definitely inspiring me. I have to admit that I've been hesitating because everything I see seems to me to just ruin a vintage piece of furniture. I have the matching end table side table and china cab it to this ..the person whom I bought it from, didn’t want to sell me the bedroom pieces, i only wish I could have.ots only had 1 owner and its in mint condition.
