“I need my own man, not my moms”😂😂😂 yes girl you’re way too cute to be over there struggling opening the cap. Thanks for all the laughs and the education. I’m still watching but had to comment!
Advice to help your process: leave the tea in the bags they come in and use fenugreek seeds. Ways less mess and straining is a breeze with the same benefits. Work smart not hard! Keep up the work! 😉
My fave moment was when you showed your hair and said, “ yeah it’s pretty nice” . Ma’am it’s nice, gorgeous, beautiful, all of the above! Love your videos! Keep on keeping on!
I like when you mentioned making doing your hair more of a therapeutic process vs a chore. I really want to adopt that way of thinking, cause child I just be ready to get it done but I need to speak love into my hair especially since I’m only washing once a month like you. Thanks for all of the tips
I’m still watching but I had to say I’ve never laughed so much at an educational natural hair video. I appreciate your realism and frankness; it makes your videos so easy and fun to watch. Thank you!
I have super fine slightly wavy white girl hair and I’ve used a lot of your tips and omggggg my hairrrrrrrr it’s grown almost 4 inches in the past 3 months and it’s getting thick!!!! And my waves are so much more wavier now 😭😭❤️❤️❤️ thank you sooooo much for all your tips and advise you’re awesome!!!!!!❤
This tutorial is not only a game changer but the best entertainment at the same time! I can't wait to try this though causeee I've been struggling for YEARS to get some growth.
The channel has grown sooooo much since I last checked in. This is a testament to the fact that you've found your calling 🙌🏽I'm weak at you saying "it grew!" 🤣🤣 You get funnier everytime I watch you loooool "I'm Jamaican. I don't use measurements." 😂"I give the people what they ask for, within reason." I know that's right 💁🏽♀️You definitely know more than something lol "I don't use a comb to part. I go by vibes." 😂🤣😭This was so much fun to watch and informative.
Your personality is hilarious 😂 You give us the jokes and the facts with a straight face, and no bs which I love. I honestly feel natural hair is hard but I realized I made it harder on myself. I'm going back to my lazy ways and hopefully I'll see some growth. Will this same method work for High porosity? I also have hard water where I live so any tips with that would be greatly appreciated. I love your hair in two buns, you're the black version of Padme 😍
You are amazing! And yess maam it will work, you made not have to add as much moisturizer or product as I do due to having high porosity hair. And awww PADME, that's so nice 😭
I just subscribed to her video and I love this girl 😂😂😂. She is just too funny and very intelligent. I am so happy to see an honest person who cares about others and not just herself. I feel her honesty and will always support a person like her. My hair is short and I can't wait to use her hair growth method.
Hey Glow-N-Peace…..hey Jackie…ok so I started my 30 day challenge today…(Sunday/Washday Feb 29,2023) after stumbling across this video and then binge watching the one with the challenge instructions. 1. Tea rinse minus glycerin cuz I don’t have anymore (yet)…✅ 2. Deep conditioner BEFORE washing which is a TOTAL change in my usual regimen (I used to do it after washing) but in the spirit of change I will follow your instructions as much as I possibly can. I didn’t have ALL the ingredients (I was missing shea butter in the DC) but I soldiered on. ✅ Then I washed …conditioned with Aussie 3 min miracle not suave (hope that’s cool) in the shower which AGAIN was a welcome change as I usually DC AFTER washing but moving on… ✅ 4. Styling was where I made the most significant change which I’d like your opinion on. I have 2 daughters so wash day is NOT/never just about me. So to save time I usually split my hair into two halves (down the middle) then use a leave in, Camille rosé conditioning cream and then (I’m with you) the holy grail blue magic grease. THEN after a few days when I go in to re-moisturize I either do the same thing (cuz again…2 daughters with LOTS of hair😁🤷🏽♀️) . Now…my question is should I make the effort of mini braids/twists once my hair is dry & a little stretched OR can I just re-moisturize and then put my two trusty braids back in but just make sure I do my scalp massages daily (which as a mom will be tough to not forget but I guess that’s what reminders in one’s phone is for. ✅ At any rate, I love your honesty, I adore your authenticity and I’m hoping your plan is FINALLY the one to get my hair passed my shoulders as I’ve been natural for about a decade and have just seemed to hit the MOTHER of all plateaus and am praying that this plan is finally the one to change that. Keep up the great work/content. Those like me (who’re sick of the content with no actual value) are DEFINITELY watching. 😊💯❤️😊💯
I had to come on here and you your props! I did the routine. Yes its for length retention and healthy hair. I have healthy hair but my hair has been at shoulder length for many years. I am 19 years natural but with doing this routine its has made my hair silky soft. I have a looser curl pattern than I guess what you would call 4 a. b or c. I don't really get the A, B, C's and 1, 2, 3's to be honest. Any way's, this routine has made my hair feel and look beautiful. I am not a lazy natural and never have been, so I took my time and ba-bay, when I tell you the results are awesome I am not lying. Now lets wait on the growth! Thank You Much!
New subscriber here! I watched this video all the way through! (the salad mukbang too😂) Thank you for taking the time to show us what has worked for you! Im gonna start binge watching your videos now, lol
thank you so much!! I turned 16 a little over a month ago and i still don't wash my own hair regularly (my mom usually washes it), now I can wash my hair by myself.

12:46 you might've did something with that salad 👀 Thank you So much for making this video. I've watched it twice: clear and understanding on the "how" from the explanation of the "why" video. I enjoyed this video, I love your personality. You're so funny and sweet. Please don't change ❤️
i love you lol cant wait to see your chanel blow up! i dont think ive laughed more yet being educated in .... ever lol i screamed whne you did saying "OMG IT GREWWWW" I LOVE ITTTTT
PLEASE READ BEFORE WATCHING VIDEO: I have made a few changes to my routine since I have posted this video last year and here they are. You can follow this routine, but I wanted to update you all 1. For the tea, I use rosemary tea instead of black or green tea. I do not add honey anymore, but you can use honey or agave if your hair needs the additional softness to detangle during your prepoo routine 2. I add amla powder instead of fenugreek 3. The launch date for the haircare line will be announced SOON and It is based off this video, my updated methods and improved methods for optimal hair health and growth! As I am overseeing the formulation for the products, please note that ALL my products will have plant based nutrient rich ingredients…that means if the bottle says fenugreek curl cream (not a real just an example), then fenugreek is the primary ingredient and everything else in it is to help the fenugreek be great. With this line, you will not have to add the additional ingredients I have had to use, because they are formulated into the products. If you are interested in being on the email list prior to the limited launch, send me an email to my email in the description box!!! ❤
Well I'm back at your video again because it's wash day... I find that the shea butter dries my hair out I used it as a pre-poo one time by itself. I bought the suave with almond Plus shea butter deep conditioning mask sample, and I am going to mix it with my other deep conditioner and see how that goes. Maybe by mixing the shea butter with other things won't be as bad for my hair. My favorite part of wash day is deep conditioning my hair with the added ingredients... Thank you! And God bless you 🌹🙏🏿
Ordering me some MSM powder tonight! My hair needs the strength I have not been taking the best care of her. Also love your natural humor 😂❤ thank you for the tips.
Thank you for this amazing video …I thank God I came across your channel, will come back with a testimony of my hair growth …someone remind me incase I forget
Hey Deanna...I've been enjoying you're videos for the past week. Just found you and I must say you are hilarious..."if y'all call this a hood salad I'ma block you" 😂. But mostly your content and information is real and to the point. Thank you and Bless you.
I think it’s absolutely wild that people are saying that natural hair is too much work. I’ve been doing my own protective styles for the past three years and prior to that I used to go to somebody to get my braiding done. I actually find that it’s a lot more work and maintenance to upkeep hairdos that it is your natural hair. This last time I did dreads I said I’m fucking done! It’s a whole 2-day extravaganza to take down, pre-wash, wash, treatments, stretch the hair and reinstall. Plus I don’t see any of the benefits from protective styles, I’ve done all the stuff that people have said that you need to do and it always ends up breaking my hair and ripping out my edges. People need to understand that protective styles do not work for everybody and that it’s no more work than having to upkeep with weaves and other protective styles. Matter of fact it’s less time. It takes me about four hours to do all of this.
I definitely enjoyed watching you make the salad! ☺️☺️It’s the realness for me cause it’s not all the time you see a RU-vidr show you all the intricate details. Nice! Can’t wait to see you grow and have all your tool set! Love you, God bless you
Thank you for this video was very detailed very very detail which is missing in a lot of videos Thank you - your hair is super gorgeous👌🏾 keep up the good work Love from NYC 🌼
You are so wholesome I love ur personalityyy. Thank you for the dedication I’m subscribed now :) Have a feeling one day you’ll be launching ur own hair care products for real results (if u wanted to haha). Big love ❤
I just discovered your channel today. Unfortunately, your products are sold out. I guess I have to wait until you “ re-up”. My hair is taking me through IT right now. I did a big chop at the end of December 2014. By August 2015, my hair grew from 1 inch to 9 inches long. At my longest, I got to 14 inches. Years later, my hair has broken off and is 40-50% thinner. Thank you for helping your fellow black woman and others to care for our hair. I am looking forward to growing va my hair back ( especially my disrespectful edge).
Your hair is so beautiful ! Love me a long video ! I’m so glad I’m about to take down my braid so I’ll try this. I’ve been an EXTREME lazy natural and my hair is suffering in going to try a similar regimen and about 6 months I’ll share the results ?
I loved this video! Thank you Thank you Thank you DEANNA! I will be going on amazon and buying some of the products that you used. I'm soo glad that you dont use these expensive shampoos/conditioners like other youtbers. I will defintly trying this! BTW I watched the eating part lol. I love you girl #yoursisterbestie We are on this journey together!
I tried your pre poo (my first time pre pooing ever) and it’s been a full week (I usually wash every Sunday because my hair is usually dry and needs a wash by then.. my hair is SO SOFT and manageable. I will never leave pre pooing out of my routine. I can finger part my hair with no issues ! Literal god send, thank you🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾 forgive me if you mentioned it but how often do you wash your hair ?
