Absolutely amazing! Your Halloween collection is truly "out of this world". I live in the UK - our stores don't carry such a wide and wonderful collection as those in USA. Thank You for sharing your home and collection.
Jane, thanks for watching and commenting. I think I have had at least a couple other UK viewers mention over the years the lack of Halloween collectibles in the UK. Somebody ought to open a Halloween store out there!
@@tracy_222 Sara, it takes around two months to decorate for Halloween, give or take a week or two depending on how busy we are with other things, work, etc.
Your collections are just spooking fantastical! You also seem to love "spooky trees " as much as I do. I also enjoyed your musical background to set just the perfect creepy ambiance.
Well Dave and YV as usual this video didn’t disappoint. I have been looking forward to y’all’s Halloween video this year🐈⬛ It’s Spooktacular for sure. I even saw things I hadn’t really noticed until this video like all the Wizard of Oz pieces. Of course I remembered the big Witch and all the Johanna Parker. Y’all have so many wonder collectible pieces I would love to know more about some of your special collections in another video please🧡. Happy Halloween 🖤👀🖤
Jean, glad you enjoyed the tour. One reason you might have seen stuff that you don't recall is because it was scaled back. This is actually what we did last year. And becuase we were still in Covid we decided to not do as much. None of the Halloween village displays were put out, which cut back on the amount of work significantly. This is our Christmas year, but we will not be putting much out. My wife is watching over her mother part-time and I have been very busy at work. Seems like life is getting in the way of our doing the extreme decorating.
Jean, you have seen on our channel that we have done some videos where YV and I talk. Starting to do more of that. Might do a little bit about the limited Christmas we plan on putting up. Just depends on how busy we are, especially me as I do all the video work. I am hoping to retire in about four years or so.
Oh my goodness Jean, I just found this channel, this is just so Spooktacular. Love all of it!! And yes, I am watching all of the Halloween in May. LOLOL
I know it’s Xmas now, but I had you saved in my to watch list and so pleased I did. This was outstanding, what a collection, I would never want to take it down! Thank you for sharing. 👌🏻. Oh and Merry Christmas 😂🤭👻☠️👏🏻x❤x
You have made a man very happy tonight. Spook, fun, whimsical, again SPOOKY- not sick. This is what Halloween should be. I'd love to know some of the history of this spectacle. Thank you.
@@Ho-Ho-Boo sorry so long in responding. I was curious about the history of your magnificent Halloween spectacle- years taken to accumulate, maybe a bit about the pieces. Thanks!
Que decoración tan hermosa todo está espectacular, grandes colecciones en porcelana, las vajillas, los platos, las soperas, cada detalle es perfecto. Felicitaciones para ustedes. Saludos y bendiciones.
Monica, thanks for watching and commenting. The flaming tree was from Lowes, but probably from six or more years ago, so I am sure it is long gone. But you might want to check ebay.
I have never seen anything of this magnitude. EPIC!! I wish I could think of something really appropriate to say right now but I'm speechless at the moment. 👻👻🎃🎃
You really have a stunning and huge Halloween collection and the house is beautifully decorated. I enjoyed this tour. Thank you for sharing! Greetings from Europe.
Alyson -- he is a one-of-a-kind piece made by Scott Smith of Rucus Studio (Google that -- he has a website.) Thanks for watching and your kind comment.
WOW!! What a wonderful journey that was. Thank you for sharing your fantastic collection of Halloween decor!! What a lovely home you have and it’s so spooky. How long have you been collecting such decor? This was really fun. Thanks! ❤️💜💚
@@Ho-Ho-Boo Wow! That’s awesome. What/how do you decorate for Christmas? If it’s like your Halloween decor, it’s gotta be out of this world amazing. ❤️💜💚
Nicholle, thanks for watching. Almost nothing is vintage. Pretty much all made by current Halloween artists and large decorating companies, such as Department 56.
Hey, thanks for watching and commenting and always happy to share information. The two items on the right-hand side of the dresser in the master bedroom were made by Scott Smith of Rucus Studios (Google to get more info). They are one of a kind, hand-made. The two figures on the left were made by Paul Gordon, another Halloween folk artist and one of kind. Not quite sure what items you are referring to in the living room/kitchen. Let me know the time mark in the video you are referring to, and I will do my best to describe.
@@Ho-Ho-Boo, thank you, it's so kind of you to respond :) The time stamp is 22:19. It looks like several figures on that display may be by the same person. So adorable
I hope all websites have big enough storage for all nick, nacks and other decorations, I honestly ❤️ don't know where these items are stored from theme to another?
