Great job on that cliff. It showed how steep it is if people look at the angle you're at walking vs the hill. Looks like about 45°. That thing would break my ankles again 😂 well done man
Thinking about getting a 36" walk behind for my slopes. Have a Toro ZT but often end up push mowing because I dont want to tear up my moist soft yard. U think this would be a good option?
The 52 is what I want to get, the engine is stronger. I was considering the extra cost when I said the 48 makes more sense. Thanks for your input on that. Perhaps it would pay off spending a few more dollars for the 52. I'm also getting a 36 for Gates.
I'm in VA also I would.... almost....take you up on that offer to come test that hill with my grandstand but I'm not dumb 😂. I can tell that's a steep hill. Central VA here.
yea camera flattens hills. I have a stander. No way any could do it sadly. I barely can walk it and fall ofter.when wet we have to trim the darn thing :(
Oh well I'm 57 and I work for a landscape company and we had a hill about like that but it was was it 40 ft tall or you know height was up the hill and it got steeper and went for like 45 almost like a 50° angle there's parts we couldn't even cut with the I was running a bobcat 36 walk behind and I had another guy behind me with the same model but it was a 48 inch and he slipped let go of the mower it went down the hill smacked the 1978 Ford Granada and moved it 4 ft so I have experience running the extreme hills but it's been a few years but I can run a 36 and a 48 but I only do walk behind uswzt I'd like to try it out sometime
JD 52 or 48 inch hydro walk behind is awesome on steep slopes. On flats hitch a swivel wheel and smoke any zero turn. Every landscaping trailer should have at least one hydro walk behind!!!! My company specializes in steep slopes and retion
Maybe I missed it skipping over parts, but what size is that scag you are using? I recently took on a job that includes overpass slopes and I have a 36" swzt but I feel like its gonna flip, maybe its just me being overly cautious, but my guy took our 48" exmark and bout gave me a heart attack several times
Hello :) Here in South Louisiana the only hills we have are levees or ditch banks Damn good thing too I am too old and brittle for these kind of stunts :) I once went to the the mountains ! They had these runaway ramps All I know is things would have to be going awful bad and things would have to be really serious For me to consider bailing off the road and running down One of these things :)
I had them on my small z mower years ago.If you are careful they wont damage turf either....Most engines have enough oil pressure to cycle.Never had a prob :)
Walk behind is only thing for that hill.camera doesnt show hills.no tractor could do it sadly.barely do it with walk behind. however my 52 swzt does better than my 48 swz(in this vid)
Thanks Jason. That is an excellent mower and I am going with a Velky on 1st commercial purchase. I've got to get business first. I'll be starting out with 2 residential riding mowers & 21in Troy-Bilt. Thanks Jason
You need to make a long POV trimming vid showing edging and all that. Everyone should make three or four of those per season it seems like. I think most people like them the best.
